Yep. And it wasn't the first time.

We are just mentally fragile as fuck.

That game looked like a win until the Woj fuck up.

I get why he continued to play him, cause once he benches him in that "form" he's done and dusted. But it's been too long now and Perin needs to get his chance. How many points do we need to drop before we drop Woj?

Go on.
And Perin is no world beater but I expect he will not be making elementary mistakes which Szczesny is doing now

Rampulla:Szczesny? The shot didn't look hard to save, it's a period in which everything is going wrong for him, even in the national team. You can see that physically he's not at his best, he needs to get his head down and work harder.”

So looks like there's now a consensus that Conte is a better league coach than Allegri

Could be. No doubt Conte can garner a reaction better than Allegri.

We had many individual errors last year as well. Pirlo still took the blame for it. So, time for Max to step up or naturally the same should apply to him.
Pirlo got the blame because we were shit just as much without the individual errors.

And also he didn't have any credit or previous proof of concept. Allegri has plenty and if this keeps happening with him in first stint, then two more coaches, then Max again...

How many goalkeeping errors did Szczesny make last season and I can remember only Torino Milan and maybe the Porto game and we lost all the games that too with Ronaldo being there

Is he though? The finals were achievements yes, but he had a great player base. And it's not like we steamrolled Monaco both of these CLs to reach the finals.

The 2016 loss to bayern is imo not that much on Evra, but more Allegris fault for taking an insane Morata (that day) at who slapped Bayern across the pitch all game while 2-0 up. After that change we lost control. And i still feel like this was our season to win it the most.
What? We absolutely steamrolled both Barca and Monaco in 2016-17? Did you not watch? We were up 4-0 on aggregate against Monaco before Mbappe scored a late consolation effort.

Forum punching bag, Morata? That Morata? Who most here think sucks? I love Morty most of the time, and he was fantastic that night, but he ran his ass off and was completely gassed when he got subbed. His last counterattack he barely had juice to put a weak effort towards goal. That loss was on the ref calling offside on a legit goal by Morty that was almost a metre onside, and a massive brainfart by Evra gifting them an equalizer with a minute left.

Please continue your rubbish though.

I see that the conclusion drawing skills are rapidly increasing.
It’s a consensus, don’t ya know? :shifty:

You're right about everything. Starting Evra over a really good AS was also a really bad decision. As was telling the team to take the foot of the gas after 3-3 with Real when we had them by the balls. All bizarre decisions.

But he's still overall a good tournament coach (was with Milan too, the reason we had hired him). And Conte is a CL failure.

Sandro was out injured for the first Bayern match. And he did start the second match. Played up field ahead of Evra and had a very good match. The full 120 minutes. You are full of shit.

Morata himself said he didn't know why he was taken off
Because players have all that self-awareness? Of course he said that. Maybe if you had actually watched the match you would know Sandro started and Morata looked gassed before getting subbed.

Conte that lost the league to Sarri, who had MLS players and Turkish league players in his midfield. conte that can't pass a group stage to save his life. Best league coach in the world

Today I learned starting a weak Evra at LB and AS at LW is the same as playing much better LB in AS at LB and not having shaky Evra in defense.

Also learned Morata was completely gassed against Bayern.

I'm sure I'll learn a lot more today.

This is not the first rebuild in the history of the club, the game, or sports in general. You guys cannot be expecting a total 180 in a week when you have 90% of the squad the same but older, it's not going to happen. This is going to be a gradual process. Getting a proven coach with promising players (Chiesa, Locatelli) during a difficult economic time for us is a good start, but we're just going to have to sit through this bullshit in the meantime.

We are Paying for old misstakes, sitting with midfielders that no one wants! I Keep hoping for CL but we are not doing anything right now!
The concentration level of this team is so weak Im not even sure Conte could do something with it...
Even if we play well like the first half against Napoli, we always make these mistakes.
Last year Bentancur starred but others also made appearances. This year Woj is taking it all on himself (except for that stupid Kean header)

I won't count coppa italia and europa league, cause these cups have almost no attraction to top tier clubs as we should be one.
CL he had exactly two, one he failed miserably (galatasaray) and the other one we beat the reigning champions in group and lost in the quarters to the upcoming champions.
He took the worst italian squad i have ever seen to the quarter finals in euro 2016 beating the reigning champs spain.

I just don't see this record as "that" bad

Sure we can't change anything and lets hope Allegri proves me wrong. I just dont believe it to get better with him at the steering wheel.
Maybe i'm also extra salty because those first three games sucked big time,. Screw you, Wojech
So you’re completely disregarding his European failures with Chelsea and Inter?

Finishing last place in CL group stage behind European giants Shaktar and Gladbach isn’t that bad. It was a “group of death”!!!

I wonder if any other coach has twice failed to get out of CL group stage while winning one of the major 4 leagues in Europe. Gotta be a record for European futility or something.

Won’t jump on Max after 3 games. I didn’t mind the organised, low block approach without the ball yesterday when we clearly were the inferior side on paper away from home.
However, he’s surely got to learn that approach requires a capable back-line that makes minimal mistakes and a keeper who can command the box, is reliable and decisive. The former he may have, the latter he doesn’t look to have whether it’s the Pole or Perin, so he may need to come up with a plan B very soon in these games or those he’s setting up to close out.
