Was watching the Real Madrid and Liverpool games today.... We are so, so far away feom that kind of football. The pace, the intensity, the ball control of the players, the vision, the inteligence. I am so envious. God, i cant remember the last time i saw a Juve game where i had fun and Juve just routinly won and dominated the game. Almost Every single game these last three years has been has been painful to watch and its always this struggle that Juve has to go through. Damn im sad.

Pirlo took the blame for our players constantly passing to the opposition in our third because it was a consequence of his game plan - try to short pass your way out of every situation without drilling in any movements and the team being spread out all over the pitch. If it keeps happening again and again its not the fault of the individual, its the coach asking his players to take stupid risks. The team moved like Ranieri's Juve and tried to keep the ball at all costs like prime Spain
And Allegri’s game plan is sitting back after getting a lead, which now we always seem to squander. So he takes the blame for that as well.

Hate to sound pessimistic but other than Cuadrado, who else of out South American players could have made a significant difference yesterday? Perhaps Dybala if on form. Danilo maybe.
It's can made different complexity when we have fresh legs coming from the bench or playing with our most first team player. If we have Sandro/Danilo we would be better defending them from the wing. Cuadrado and Dybala can give them caution from our attacking threat. One Cuad pass and some Dybala dribble can made a goal opportunity. They can also ease the pressure from Napoli when we have the ball

Napoli play with all their players available

What if since both tend to auto destruct, together they won't?
These weren't just bad games we've played so far. We're 3 games in and we don't have a clue what we're doing. We actually might end this season in the second half of the table. As of now, we're one of the worst teams in the league. And it isn't looking like the problem is about to be fixed anytime soon.

I don't see how we'll be fine. Securing CL will be quite an achievement.

We were extremely lucky last year. This year will be more difficult
Good job for us the. That the league doesn’t finish after 3 games! Look in all seriousness it’s clear there are big problems with this squad, in terms of quality and mentality. We can’t fix the quality right now but we can work on the mentality and Allegri will be doing that.

Each game in isolation:
Udinese, we were very comfortable and held a 2-0 lead until Tek lost his mind with some disgraceful goalkeeping.
Empoli - This was a terrible performance but we had lost our best player 24 hours before and had no replacement
Napoli - we were missing 5 starters and 3 of our most influential players. Also another Tek howler has cost us. We looked more organised defensively even if we offered little on the ball. We regularly lose away to Napoli so the result isn’t exactly a shock

the next 2 weeks are key, if we don’t start to find some form it will be panic stations but have faith. Once Allegri finds his system and personnel we will improve. We will not win the title but we will finish top 4

Then why Juve hire him?
Should've kept Pirlo if there's no difference lol

Juve hired him to stop the decline which I have every faith he will do. Sarri sent us into a spiral and Pirlo continued that.

Max has really inherited a poor squad with mental fragility similar to the Ciro Ferrara/Del Neri days. It’s going to take him some time to change the mentality, it sadly can’t be done overnight. It really is a terrible start, 1 point from these first 3 games is shocking and we have Milan on Sunday which also doesn’t bode well. Max will turn it around but we won’t win the league or even compete for it.

We are in a rebuild until the funds from the capital injection are released next summer

This has never been the Juve way though. Even with some of the great teams we had. In fact on Ancelotti's Milan were anything like that in Italy.

sarri didn't sent us anywhere, he was just a bad fit. the squad needed some fixing back then, and max shouldn't have been fired.

now that we have a shitty, unbalanced squad, full of overpaid, unmotivated mercenaries, and we still expect a miracle, a disappointment is inevitable

So what are your expectations this season fourth place finish and UCL quarterfinals

Nah the decline already started on Allegri last years. But his team still had old core like Buffon, Chiellini, Bonucci Barzagli, Marchisio to help him.

Blaming Sarri and Pirlo for infecting the squad with weak mentality is just bad excuse from Allegri fanbois. Allegri's team also had brainfart here and there so it's not like his team was always strong mentally.

The blame is on management for failing to replace players with grinta and instead signing lazy players like Rabiot etc

No it really isn’t. 2018-19 Juventus, it didn’t have Marchisio, Barzagli was done, Chiellini was injured for the most Importwnt matches of the season and we had to play a Bonucci-Rugani back line. We were on pace for 104 pts before the last 5 matches when we had nothing to play for. We made CL QFs and with a healthy Chiellini and Mandzukic probably would have played SFs that season. We had lots of grinta and fight still in us, but of course squad building was shit and we were declining. Our subsequent shitty coaching hires just made it worse. 83 pts the next season, 78 last season. Awful goal differentials. Shit defense. Embarrassing Rof16 Cl exits against terrible teAms.

Sarri got De Ligt and Demiral to fix his defence and it somehow got much worse, while our attack didn’t improve in the slightest. And still probably would have lost scudetto to Lazio without Covid taking the wind out of their sails. He drilled the “losing is okay” mentality into the team and unlike the Allegri years when we would often start slow but improve throughout the year and finish steong, we started strong under Sarri and finished in awful shape and woeful form which got him sacked. CL exit to 7th place Ligue 1 Lyon was most embarrassing since Conte group stage. And the chain smoking fuckwit’s excuses just made it worse. Pirlo came in and finished destroying the grinta and win at all costs mentality of the players here. The two of them were terrible fits for this club’s culture and mentality and it showed while they were here and shows now with the weak ass mentality of players.

3th-6th place and el semifinal :snoop:

jk on the el, i don't see us winning or finishing 2nd in the league though. the club lost a lot, squad lacks technical quality, speed, leadership, coherence, grinta and testosterone. i hate to say but the two milan trannies have much better teams, while we didn't put on a proper fight since 2 seasons and failed to punch above our weight, save for the coppa tie vs inda last season. the damage paratici did will take years to fix.

yes absolutely

No it really isn’t.
oh yes it is

The decline started with Allegri. It started when he began to lose his best midfielders. After replacing Vidal, Pirlo and Pogba with Khedira, Pjanic and Lemina (well, the money went to higuain...)
Allegri didn't manage to push this team again back to a good leve, the team got worse year by year after that. Our midfield was shit ever since. We did invest way too much into attacking players, rather than what we actually needed. Allegris fault? Management fault? We don't know.

Yes it became again way worse the year Sarri took over. But we also could say that it's Sczeszny's fault, cause that's the year he replaced Buffon as our main GK.
Not having Gigi in our goal seriously screwed our defense and we conceded so much more!
