We did so well in CL with Sarri, who was the darling of Europe for his “attacking” style at Napoli.

Good thing you said realistically. I don't know why people mention coaches yet always avoid the best ones. We managed to signed Ronaldo. Then we managed to sign De Ligt. I honestly don't know why we can't sign or won't sign best coaches.
I like Klopp. If Liverpool ditches him after this bad season I'd give my best to get him here. Yes, I'd try to avoid signing Italian coaches because I don't think those would get us anywhere in Europe. Personally I'd never get Gasperini because I think Atalanta performs this way because of the synergy of their team and that will fade away once they sell their best players. Getting him would be a horrible mistake imo.
If, and oh if, we try to stick to the history of hiring Italians then I suppose it's only Allegri who's worth having here (Conte was my top pick but after everything I don't think we'll chase him). But I honestly hope we try something different by picking world class coach who's not Italian and focus on building an identity which we don't have at the moment.
Sticking with Pirlo will be the worst decision, though.
I like Klopp. If Liverpool ditches him after this bad season I'd give my best to get him here. If we hire Klopp we’ll go through the same difficulties Liverpool went through. Our team as constructed doesn’t fit him and his tactics at all. Outside of the CBs, you could keep Chiesa, Morata, Cuadrado, Mckennie, Danilo. Possibly guys like Kulusevski, Frabotta, Rabiot, Bentancur. But that’s leaves us a gaping hole and a huge restructuring to go through very quickly. And how patient do you think people are going to be if we finish 8th, 4th, and 4th, or something similar in his first 3 seasons, like Liverpool did?
Klopp is a fantastic coach, and once we have transitioned a bit further to a younger, more athletic squad, he could be a great hire, but as things currently stand, and with our “winning is the only thing that matters mentality”, hiring Klopp would be a poor idea in my opinion.
Hire someone more tactically versatile like Allegri (or possibly Zidane) imo, and still get results while fixing the squad over the next couple seasons. Then, you can look at a Klopp.

I don't think that could work because Allegri would want totally different players imo. Also, despite the negative effect, which is only temporary, I think it'd be huge benefit for us.
Then again, we might miss the opportunity, go with what you said and let Real get Klopp in 1 year which would leave him there for possibly 6-7 if not more years.
Gotta take some risk and imo this one is worth taking. Also, unlike previous years, I think Klopp could work with our current team. Like you said, plenty of our players he'd find useful. I'm not saying we'd win CL first year. But I like the idea of building an identity as a team, getting a synergy in all fields because it would surely take some time to get used to it.

Zidane is more tactically versatile than Klopp imo. And would be better able to adapt to our side as currently constructed and get immediate results.

How could I forget. People were praising them for their attacking, high scoring playing style, while we quietly scored 86 goals in the league to their 77 that season
our team identity is different , they play without care of results , but for us it is difficult .... we need both ...
So a guy that got us to final tvice, smashing the likes of Real and Barcelona along the way, both having CR and Messi at their peak, then destroyed Real at Bernabeu, only to be prevented by Benatia's brainfart combined with refs succumbing to home crowd, to do it again, now isnt condsidered as good enough to bring European success here. A coach who took a team that before his tenure shat their pants when facing 'mighty' champions of Denmark and Turkey. A team that since he left for the 2nd year in a row gets knocked out by European 'heavyweights' such as Lyon and Porto. I'll be damned.
Ur wrong there. We have replicated it perfectly over the last 2 years. Instead of Villareal we got knocked out by Lyon, instead of RB Leipzig we got knocked out by Porto...This season though we might go all the way and miss out on Scudetto, just like Napoli have all those years. I find correlation striking.
