Asked for a midfielder HE WANTS.

If you think he'll come back for a midfield with Rabiot, Matuidi, Khedira, Ramsey, Benta, Arthur and probably some no-name... Got news for you... He's not stupid.

It is. It's always on the coach once he signed on for the job.

I'm just saying, Allegri has the privilege to pick and choose. Lots of top teams will make offers for him and to be honest with you our project isn't promising compared to let's say... PSG.
That's a cop out, if you think Allegri is a good coach and wouldn't want to be here because this team is hopeless then you can't blame the coach if this team is hopeless.

You'd have a point if he was sentimental towards us and came in to save his beloved Juventus... but he's clearly not. The man talked about coming back to coach Milan.

So looking at if from a sporting angle, he has better options in the market. Doesn't mean we're "hopeless".

I'm just going off your assumptions, no one knows if he wants to come back or not.

That's the thing tho... we haven't been winning since 1996. Let's try this way of winning for a bit. No one suggested we become an Arsenal.
Well he also always said CL is not a benchmark for success because it's about luck...

I think the reason people want him back is because we're getting closer and closer to lose the grip on Serie A. Feels like we're not the best anymore in Italy.

Allegri > Sarri I guess most people agree that basic point by now

Still doesn't mean we didn't need a change we seemed stuck in limbo after THAT CL final and some awful football

But like I said at the time part of that was on Allegri but a part of that was on our awful midfield recruitment which was ruining our play.

We could have backed Allegri, we could have given Sarri a say in the squad or any other manager. Instead we get Sarri and fucking YOLO more freebies in midfield under a coach that is heavily dependent on a certain type of player.

I hope we get rid of Sarri because he's too stubborn like Conte but can we please fucking back the next manager properly and not give him a selection of over paid freebies to mesh a squad together with.

For fucks sake our full back selection going in to this season was criminal. Absolutely embarrassing.

Who would you want to hire as replacement

Honestly I don't know since about 2018 I mostly watch Juve only so my knowledge is way more limited than it was growing up

But I'd say Gasperini or S Inzaghi if we're determined to stick to Italians

Outside of Serie A I don't know who the group of highly rated yet realistic options are anymore (So no Pep or Klopp etc)

Pochetino as an outsider maybe? Overachieved at Tottenham, everyone shits on him for his lack of trophies but managerial careers are different. People like Pep and Zidane by virtue of their playing career got chances to manage top 3 squads in the world early on so I'm not one to write off coaches who haven't had the world at their feet from day 0.

Not S Inzaghi. I don’t think we can afford Zidane or Pep at this time because we probably have to pay Sarri for the reminder of his contract.

How much worse can we get with Gasperini. He should be cheaper as well.

That's the thing, i don't see any viable options out there, unless we take a gamble like we did with conte but i doubt that's the direction our mgmt will take.
