Do you see your immediate future in Italy or at a foreign club?
I don't really care where it is. I'm looking for a club to share a project with and which has the ambition to compete to win.

Would you like to coach in LaLiga Santander?

Who in their right mind would say no to this question? No one.

You've won five Serie A titles with Juventus. Do you think they'll win a ninth this season?

The structure at Juve is built to win and win. Only for that. That's why I think they'll keep winning for many years.

What do you think is the biggest difference between LaLiga Santander and Serie A?

There is more pleasure of playing in LaLiga, no matter the result. After conceding a goal, the team keeps playing as if nothing has happened. In Italy, on the other hand, there is much more love and attention for the details of the game and tactics. The brain almost always wins out over the heart, in general.

Why did Juve's domestic dominance not translate to European competitions? They haven't won the Champions League since 1996.

I don't agree with that. In the last few years, they've done very well, getting to two finals [2015 and 2017] and with some very debatable eliminations. :shifty:

Which Spanish coaches do you admire or did you admire?

Pep [Guardiola], obviously. Also, Luis Enrique a lot.

What do you like about Zinedine Zidane?

The strength he's had in finding the indispensable balance of a team so full of class and talent. For me, the positioning of Casemiro has been a tactical masterclass from Zizou.

What do you like about Diego Simeone?

His unique ability to create empathy with his group. Diego and his team are a unique match. I don't know any other coach capable of achieving something similar to Diego.

You've been linked with Real Madrid a number of times? Was there any chance of you joining?

Two years ago, there was contact, but nothing came of it because I had a contract with Juve. Furthermore, I had a strong moral commitment to the club and its fans.

His last season was cancer, his love for Khedira and Matuidi also but, I don't think Max is that bad. He seems like a very nice guy, not the Conte type of guy that would go to Inda.

Will this thread be moved out of the legend section too if he signs for Inter?

Travesty that Beppe's was moved in the first place. Both him and Max were loyal servants, did amazing things and were chased out of the club after everything. Why would either of them have loyalty when Juve weren't loyal in the first place?

I'd get it if he was choosing between let's say Barca and Inter and chose merda to spite Juve or something. But if Inter is his best offer and he takes it I'd be incredibly sad, but wouldn't hold it against him at all.

Agreed.

I’m not on board with the hate Conte gets either but thats just me. Yes, you expect him to be held to a higher standard than others because of his Juventus history but in the end its just a job too. He has never slammed Juventus either from what i recall. There was that one bit where he was pissed at the petition to remove his name from the stadium or something, but you can’t blame him.

Hope that Conte’s Inter crashes and burns? Ofcourse. But that doesn’t change his status as a Juve icon for me. The same would go for Allegri.

In Allegri We Trust

The biggest mistake we have done in the last 7-8 season was firing Allegi. Selling Vidal and Pogba without properly replacing them, falling to adress mifield weakness summer after summer were all big mistakes but didnt have as much impact on our game since we had a coach that could adapt, thinker and find solution. Last season towards the end, not even him could fix the mess Paratici and Nedved created. We had Matuidi and Rabiot starting in the middle last night and the result was that we got dominated by Atalanta and were very fortunate to get away with a draw, at our turf. Disgrace. They hid the ball away from us for large chunks of the game. Danilo as left back, Bernadeschi who prances around without any kind of end product, while he plays on a position that requires goals and assists or at least significant involvement every game. We are in dire need of rebuilding the squad, which Allegri suggested last year. As long as Danilos, Bernardeschis, Matuidis, Rabiots are starting our games, while coached by 60 yo stubborn, devoid of ideas, incapable of a change manager, CL will be just a dream. At this point Atalanta has bigger chance of winning CL this season. This very notion is disgusting but nonetheless it is reflection of their good work or our shortcomings in recent years.
