no. VW was carried by de Bruyne all year, the rest of the team, especially the defense, wasnt on Dortmunds level. you can see that by the fact that VW finished 2nd with 69pts, but the very next season Tuchel finished 2nd with 78pts, basically having the same team Klopp left, and VW had 45pts after losing de Bruyne. so Dortmund still had the 2nd best roster in the league, after Bayern.
now back to the point, and Nedveds original troll attempt, how can you say Klopp would win Serie A with the best roster for sure, if he managed to finish 7th with the 2nd best roster in the BL?

the best way to find out is to probably make a Serie A best 23 man squad, and see how many of our players make it. we have the best team, and we have some depth (mostly in the attacking department, other areas arent all that really), but i wouldnt say its by far the best team.
then all those injuries...

i dont see many overachievements so far, BL in 11/12 being one, reaching CL final being the other. you can count in this seasons CL as well, if you think kicking out City is some overachievement

who here actually thought Pool would face Sevilla, Spartak, Maribor, Porto, City and Roma on their way to the final? dont you think a few other teams, like us, Tottenham, PSG, Bayern, could have done the same, with a similar path? do you think Pool would be in the final if they played in a group with us or barcelona for example, then got Real Madrid or Bayern in the 1st knock out stage? City are the best team they faced, and City is their perfect opponent basically, playing exactly how Liverpool and Klopp like it. yes, reaching the final is always a challenge, but his 2013 final was a far more impressive feat.
