We couldn't even buy Cuadrado from Viola, we had to get him on loan via Chelsea because the rats wouldn't sell him to us.

Rival clubs will never ever sell their best players to us unless we offer PSG style money which we will never do.
:sergio:

The point of conversation was entirely about building a vast lead over other teams, and using this to be able to get all young talents or emerging stars. We starter from the first conte scudetto with only good opportunities, and since summer 2015 you can add emerging stars aswel.
We for example, just bought Mandragora(17) for 7+7 million. We got Dybala early for 40mil.Just like that. Thats our business model.

We are not talking about buying totti(prime) from roma, Nesta from Milan, Ronaldo from inter.

Cuadrado went for less then Dybala. Wich one would you rather have ?

I didn't read all of the conversation, frankly when you're involved in a discussion I try to avoid it because you talk nonsense.

I assumed the debate was about if we could become like Bayern and buy players like Higuain, like Bayern did with Lewa and Gotze, in their primes.

Ah, the classic arrogant response, because you "assumed" and didnt bother looking back a page, and then lash out because of a " :sergio: "

Its okay, you definatly werent the first who just tagged on. but its excessively frustrating to start with a certain point, to have one guy misinterpret the point, and all the "tag along's" to only read that one guy's post, and make it seem like that was the oroginal point.

I've specifically said that bayern started their "hollywood" era with domestic succes and consistantly good european campaigns. Buying excellent foreign players, and getting talents like we got dybala for example.
Remember how Bayern was not able to buy Vidal 4 years ago from a rival.

Took them a decade and great CL runs to start getting the gotze and lewandowski from their biggest rival.

It wont be like that in italy when it comes to all out rival stars. But it will come to that when talking about 95% of young players and emerging stars. example : dybala.

Just had a look over the Italian keepers who have come through in the last few years, some this season:

Alberto Brignoli 1991 - Samp/Juve
Luigi Sepe 1991 - Fiorentina/Napoli
Francesco Bardi 1992 - Espanyol/Inter
Mattia Perin 1992 - Genoa
Marco Sportiello 1992 - Atalanta
Nicola Leali 1993 - Frosinone/Juve
Alessio Cragno 1994 - Cagliari
Pierluigi Gollini 1995 - Verona
Simone Scuffet 1996 - Como/Udinese
Alex Meret 1997 - Udinese
Gianluigi Donnarumma 1999 - Milan

There are some guys who are 19/20 who haven't played a game yet, the likes of Lezzerini or Audero, who are very highly rated.

I think Italy has unbelievable potential GK depth for the next 10-15 years even from this point, but to approach Buffon level you are looking at something special. Almost certainly none of these have it. Then you have to look at potential world class, maybe 2-3 do, several more could be very good.

Would you be happy with a keeper the level of someone like Lloris or De Gea? I think that's the best we can hope for, personally.
why shouldn't we be happy? getting anotehr gigi is harder than getting another messi, considering the state of football today.

we'll see about that, I'd feel it's rather like we're playing dices with slim chances than something that will work as an automatic system though.

Nah, go full hunger games.

Make Juventus the capitol and everything else the districts.
Oh man.

The thing is it is extremely easy to misinterpret something you say. Sometimes I wonder if you misinterpret your own posts.

The only team that don't do business with Bayern is Leverkusen but that's mostly because of Rudi Völler who absolutely hates Bayern. The rest just bend over.

Since we couldn't find a way to take out just the Dunerliga, we've decided to take the big geopolitical wrecking ball and blast a whole in Germany. I guess getting mugged in Naples is preferable than getting raped in Cologne...:snoop:

Unfortunately I remember the first game we played this season and it was followed by other difficult moments,” said the Coach in his Press conference.

The Bianconeri had one point after three rounds, having lost the opener 1-0 at home to Udinese.

“After Empoli the team started to put together a run of nine straight wins. We also improved physically and are now in good shape. We have another half-season to go. As I’ve already said this title race will be decided on the last day.

“Right now Napoli are the Scudetto favourites, but none of the top five can be ruled out. It’s part of the game, tipping the opposition to be favourites and Maurizio Sarri did it with us.

“I was never the only one who still believed in the Scudetto. In football as in life, there are difficult moments, but we got back on track thanks to the lads. That is not enough, there are many more games to go and I’ll field my best formation in every match.

“We have a difficult game tomorrow against an Udinese side in good form, while it will also be a special day for them inaugurating the new stadium.”

Alvaro Morata’s confidence crisis drags on and Allegri confirmed he will be benched with the return of Mario Mandzukic.

“Morata will do well and get back to scoring, as he has proved many times he’s a great player. Mandzukic has recovered and will play. Simone Zaza has become an important player for this team.

“Either Daniele Rugani or Martin Caceres will start in defence. It’s likely they will alternate, so whoever doesn’t start tomorrow will play against Lazio.

“Juventus have improved a great deal in terms of attitude and our objective is to challenge the best in Europe.”

Definitely has his finger on the pulse of this team, what a fantastic run of form he's got the lads on. Can't wait for our huge February matches!

Forza Allegri!

Allegri: 'Napoli favourites for now'
By Football Italia staff

Max Allegri insists “Napoli are the Scudetto favourites for now” despite Juventus earning a 10th consecutive victory.

The Bianconeri crushed Udinese 4-0 in their new stadium and remained one point behind the leaders, but are now two points clear of Inter.

“Napoli are going at a remarkable tempo, so they are the Scudetto favourites for now, but there are still five teams up there who have a chance of winning the title,” Allegri told Mediaset Premium.

“We missed many things in the first half of the season, but I was not worried because we changed so much over the summer. A period of adjustment was only to be expected. We still have a lot of work to do and can improve further.

“We need to work on our physique, but also on the quality of our football and not misplacing so many passes. We are already getting better, but must do more.”

Paulo Dybala scored another two goals today and had a hand in the other two.

“He has improved a great deal, but let’s leave comparisons to one side. He can still do better, as everyone can. I am happy with this squad, as the strength in depth means I can rest players.”

Paul Pogba was left out today due to flu symptoms so he can be fresh for the Coppa Italia quarter-final against Lazio.

“Kwadwo Asamoah is a reliable player with great technique. Unfortunately he had this knee injury that means I can’t use him all the time, but he’s always impressive when called upon.
so wtf is wrong with asa? will he always need two weeks off after playing one game?

and: depth :beppe: @Hustini

Yeah he said in an interview a few weeks ago that Asa is fit, but won't be able to play more than a game every two weeks for the foreseeable future.

And I can live with that tbh, expected worse.
