There's nothing irregular with Asamoah. He was out for almost an entire season, and he was always going to require half a season before he could be counted on. In summer and at start of the season, I didn't expect him to be a major player for us till January. And those two little injuries he picked up were normal too. Happens when you're training and playing to return to full fitness after being out for that long, and in Asamoah's case, it happened the two times Allegri, due to others' injuries, was forced to start him in one game and enter him in 1st half of another. At that time, he was only supposed to make sub appearances.

It was before the winter break when Allegri said Asamoah could only play only once every two weeks or max once every week which isn't unexpected in Asamoah's case. And Asamoah had confirmed that his knee has been fine and that he's training well. No need to rush him back now with most of our midfielders fit. I expect him to return to being an important player for us in the 2nd half of the season soon enough.

it's cuz he knows the defense is shit whenever we go up. we are never safe when we go up as long as bonucci and chiellini are our cbs cause they cant keep focus
Yeah, thanks we only faced real madrid in last years semi final. Imagine if we'd met a team that stacks up on expensive offensive talent

So you now want me to fetch an example of a game where maldin, baresi, tasotti, costacuerta conceded 2 goals from crappy opponents on a lesser da ?

Or ask questions like "why doesnt barcelona win each game in spain when all 3 forwards are fit"

I'm sure part of the reason was rotation (it did make sense to rest Pogba in this game). The other part prolly was he didn't mind having a more defensive mid at LCM this game, esp next to Alex Sandro. I noticed a lot of Udinese's attacks came from their right side. And both teams played the same formation, so he knew Sandro and Steiner will come out on top against their counterparts in the flanks and secured the middle. I'm guessing.

Yeah but still, going public with "oh i benched my uefa toty player cause this guy defends better" is strong.

Now asamoah does that better indeed, but he just publically said asamoah was a better pick for this game.

I hope it fires up pogba for roma

Imagine zidane going like " yeah im benching ronaldo vs barcelon, and move bale to the left because we need that defensive skill and workrate"
