Personally I would say our team screams 352 , but everyone myself included don't like that formation . I personally love the 433 and I think that after the 352 it is the formation that lets you field your best players in the field . The problem is that we lack proper subs to make that a main formation imho. If one of the wings is missing we don't have a replacement . I think that our best option this season is for allegri to train the team to play 433 and another formation which may very well be the 4312 or if need be the 352 . 433 if everyone forward is available , 4312/352 when someones missing .
I once suggested this in the tactics/formations thread:

IMO, we should always play a 4-man defense. 3-man defense is outdated, now even in Serie A!

We can easily field both Hernanes and Cuadrado. A 4-3-1-2 can easily turn to 4-3-3.

Cuadrado - Marchisio - Pogba

Hernanes

Morata - Dybala

Can also change during game into:

Hernanes - Marchisio - Pogba

Cuadrado - Morata - Dybala

That's the benefit of having a flexible trequartista like Hernanes. Everytime Cuadrado pushes forward on the flank, Hernanes can drop back to cover.
I'm not sure if I'm right about Cuadrado's ability to contribute defensively, though. Or whether the defensive rate of Pogba and Marchisio can be enough to cover for both Hernanes and Cuadrado. However, with having good backup midfielders to share playing minutes with Pogba and Marchisio (Sturaro, Pereyra, Asamoah, Khedira, Lemina) it could happen and should.

You guys make it sound like we have a below par midfield. Pogba and Marchisio are WC,Khedira, Asamoah and Pereyra is top class midfielders. Lemina and Sturaro are two young prospects that could potentialy be top class. We still have a top class midfield and by far the best in Italy.
Yeah, no, that's ridiculous. Pereyra is not top class, he's a good sub at best. Khedira and Asamoah are plain good players, useful in their day but none of them is Vidal. And it doesn't matter since they are injured all the time. Sturaro is useless and the only interesting player of the bunch is Lemina. That midfield is good compared to like, Sassuolo's, but depressing for a club like Juve.

And to go with my theory about creating enough chances here is our coach who is apparently blameless:

“At the moment we’re not scoring enough goals, it takes us a lot of chances to get one, when we start scoring the games will be different."

Are you serious or trolling? Nobody said they where as good as Vidal but all of them are close to the Vidal we have seen in the last 1 1/2 seasons. We still have the two most important midfielders from last season.People have a tendency to forget about the past. In Vidal we had a true warrior and the best in the world to press and herash opponents, but we also had a player who was hopeless on the break and often misplaced easy passes. The players mentioned does not have the same strenghts as he has but they have other strenghts that make them fantastic midfielders.

Feel sorry for Allegri, he came in to a club with an amazing midfield and now with idiotic sales, injuries and crap buys we're left with a midfield that looks plain average.
i dont remember a coach who had performance better than what allegri is doing now Moreover out of form pogba, and many of injuries(marchisio , morata, khedira)
No other coach would have taken juventus to CL final the way allegri did

You don't need 11 difference makers, two or three are enough. Roma and inter have a few. Mentally strong players we have? Apart from Buffon and Barzagli? Maybe Bonucci comes to mind.
Lol, that's enough. Dude, you're clueless. If You think that Inter and Roma are individually better than us it's beyond me.

Cuadrado as a midfielder is a no-no for me . He started as a rightback , but he got pushed forward in the field not only thanks to his offensive abilities , but also because his defense lacks . It's not like he doesn't track back , he actually runs and helps in defense , but his tactical awarness is nil , putting him as a box to box is a terrible decision imho .

The best option with those players would be to switch hernanes with cuadrado , but In this case just play a 433 and get over with it .

we need a win badly, I hope the Englis will be underestimating us, not just City, but their commentators, the EPL fans, even the queen, and then we win and gets City in the worst of slump after that!
