We differ. Vucinic was our creative force in attack those first two seasons under Conte, and when he was missing so was our attacking play. He was very inconsistent, but easily a top player in my eyes.
Vucinic was an on and off source of creativity yes and in this respect he is superior to Matri and Quags but as a goal scorer he is inferior to them. Eitherway, all three are far from Juve material. None of them would start at any big team and they wouldn't start for us today and thats whats relevant to the point about Allegri.

Allegri is handed a much better squad on paper than what Conte had to start with and the team is having its worst start in the club's long history. Its not over yet I think we will recover, all I am saying is that this shows how miraculous Conte's first season was. He had a much worse squad with no confidence whatsoever and tons of arrivals that were for the first team.

The Conte haters like to undermine what he achieved when what he did is really impressive for any coach.

better than conte
Its funny, we are truly tested so far and Allegri is not up to the scratch at all.

Almost winning the treble is completely erased by a poor 3 games with a whole new squad.
Its certainly not erased, but its really worrying start, extremely so, so far, and the head honcho of our headless chicken routine out there for the 3rd time certainly should be held responsible for it. At this level Juve is in no room for such failure so far, its dangerous levels of going down in a vicious cycle of being pressured to perform and falling short.

People always selectively use and manipulate facts to suit their arguments.

As I've said, they are both very good managers, and there really hasn't been any accomplishment by either that would suggest a clear difference in quality. Conte was a huge part along with Marotta and co of the Juventus renewal and reversing our fortunes with a dramatic 180. Those 3 seasons were amazing. 3 scudetti in a row by a manager is incredibly impressive. Allegri is 1 of only 4 managers in Serie A history to win the scudetto with 2 different teams, he also managed to rotate the team perfectly to compete in all 3 competitions and won us our first Coppa Italia in 20 years, and got us to our first CL final in 12 years. Very impressive from both.

Just like discrediting Conte's achievements is stupid, the same is also true with Allegri. Having his team sold out from beneath him at Milan is a perfectly valid explanation for the struggles there.

I think our main issue right now is the injury situation and whatever else that has prevented our best players from playing.
A difficult start is to be expected when you make so many changes. But we need the probable starters to play together so they can gel as soon as possible. How are they supposed to have gelled by now if Khedira is yet to play a game, Quadrado is yet to start a game and key players Marchiso and Pogba are yet to be on the pitch at the same time? We've used a different lineup in every game.

Allegri is perhaps a slow learner, but he will eventually find the best lineup. But will injuries allow him to field the same lineup a few games in a row?
It was probably not just luck, but Conte hugely benefited from the lack of injuries in his first season. It was the same players in the defense and midfield in nearly every game.

I'm quite certain that once Allegri has found the strongest eleven it won't feature players like Hernanes, Sturaro, Pereyra, Caceres, Padoin and perhaps not even Morata.

Honestly if we were signed this same players at least two weeks before the season started Allegri should be in the edge, waiting for just a little push...

Lets see on tuesday

We have 35 games to finish top 3. Anyone expecting an endless run of scudetto triumphs is quite frankly delusional. This was an obvious transition year and a slow start isn't shocking. I wouldn't care if we didn't win the scudetto if we showed clear progress and showed a clear transition to another possible successful cycle.

If our transition year is a top 3 finish and a decent showing in Europe then it's miles and miles ahead of the traditional Italian rebuilding method which usually involves being terrible for 5 years (Milan, Inter).

It was always going to be difficult to win a 5th in a row without Tevez who was a world class player last year. 30 goals are gone. Multiple clutch performances are gone. And then there is the loss of Vidal on top.
