We are 19th (bottom 2) for run distance covered after 2 matches. We can't even beat Samp team as the worst run distance covered (least pressing team).
Inter is no. 2 with 111.3 km on average and Milan is no. 2 with 109.8 km. Almost 20km more than our team. But yet our players injured like flies.

Last night MU ran 113.8 km on total against Liverpool and won. Against Brentford they only ran 95.6 km as a team. It's 19 km improvement. They run more, chase more with high intensity and effort. And it paid off

There are reason Kulu and De Ligt said the training their experienced after Juve is more intense. Allegri should ask more from the team
You can't make players run more if they are guaranteed to start every week regardless of performance.
A great coach would bring out the hammer on all 3 mids for the next game, just to send a message regardless of the Roma result.
Half assing your way is over.
But we all know that at least 2 of 3 are going to start (loca and rabiot).

The sad part about all of this is that it doesn't really matter who the coach is. This group of players is beyond redemption. Prime Lippi would fight for CL spot with them and we would suffer watching it all the same.
wrong
Give these players to Conte + a decent fitness team and they will AT LEAST cover 20% more ground which WILL translate to more points and initiate a positive spiral

Worst fitness team in Europe and the least energetic and inspiring head couch on top of it --> bad combination

Folletti & Grani wouldn't last 6 months at a 3. Bundesliga club but at JJ? No problem, have a cappuccino here's your gazzetta

Looking more
We are 11th position for AVG time for Ball Possesion per match after 2 matches. But the worst part is we are the 4th bottom (17th) for Avg time ball possession in opponent midfield. Only Cremonese, Lecce, and Lazio are worst than us. Milan and Inter also better than us in possesion.

For me, its a worrying statistics. I dont know how long we can rely on pragmatic and defensive passive football to win the league. I still hope we can win it this season, but the sign after 2 matches are not encouraging.

Can we sack him already?

He is stuck in the past, not only he can't make our team work but also wants shitty players without taking into consideration their injury record. He does not give a fuck if we fail or not, he will take his wage even if we let him go. The best decision coaching wise we made in recent years was sacking him, hiring Sarri, Pirlo and him again were terrible bussines.

I don't know who are the mods here, but you also need to suck it up, man up, and let that Rus guy back in. Because your boys (trying not to say anything offensive) ganged up on him and he was banned while talking the truth (most of the time )

The biggest issue is I feel as though we have 0 style of play or identity still. When we are bad we look like a team that's never played together before.
This. I wouldn't be so pissed watching us draw with Samp if we at least we're attempting to play a certain way but the fact we have looked completely lost with no game plan for at least the last 3 of Allegri's seasons here is very worrying.

With all the injuries and recent departures/arrivals it can perhaps be a bit understandable that we do not have any clear identity or style to our game but what is inexcusable is why complicate things unnecessarily with questionable choices and hybrid formations when we clearly do not have the proper personnel capable of interpreting it the way he wants them to, basically making it an uphill battle from the get go instead of going with the basics by starting the players available to him all in their main positions without the hybrid experiments involved that are totally uncalled for and doesn’t gain us any real advantage.

Well take Ancelottis trophies away and check the numbers again. Also take into account that like 90% of teams in Italy have Italian coach so there is minimum chance of a foreigner winning something in Italy (which adds up to 5 league + 5 cup titles in 5 years).

Not that it makes much sense to grade managers in this way, but Ancelotti is the exception. Also interesting, but last two European trophies won by Italian clubs were with a foreign coach.
Ancelotti only had 2, if I remember correctly. Lots of Germans coach in the Bundesliga too, what's your point? Try taking Pep's trophies out and then counting for Spain again.

Sure, that was also over a decade ago.
