We cannot play like Napoli because we have no creativity, we can't play like Milan because we have no dynamism or pace, we should do an Inter 3-5-2 because that makes their quite average teams look good. It's good for Kostic and Cuadrado, less of Sandro, we can fit Rovella in there, and have Di Maria support Vlahovic.

We've tried for a year to get this team to work but is hasn't, do something different and make it work. Everyone can have off days but good teams still look dangerous and can create. We're solid defensively but beyond that, nothing.

It will be too late to wait until November to change the coach. It should either be done now or by the end of the season. In the end it does not matter what the fans want or do not want, I don't see the management sacking him during the season nor by the end of the season unless he fails miserably (failing miserably is missing out on the CL according to our standards)

With that being said, look at what they are doing in the mercato, everything and every decision being taken is to spite the fans. We wish for a player to stay, they sell him. We want a certain type of player, they bring the total opposite. We want them to block players from playing, they get to start every match.
This. It's not that we ask for much.
Just bench these useless fossils who half ass their performances every night.
But, nooo, just as you said it, it's like they are doing it to spite us.
We have had enough of Rabishit.
We have had enough of Locatelli as a regista.
We have had enough of walking dead Sandro.
We have had enough of masterclass Rugano.
We have had enough of Mckennie getting more than 5 minutes if he's out of form or overweight.
We aren't asking for much.

The emotional stability here is incredibly low. I wonder how people navigate life when a draw in the second game of the season makes you this upset.
I've come to realize (sadly too late) that people just don't change.

More optimistic people (including me) will always seek to find a positive and more negative people will do the opposite. Depending on the situation one group is more active/louder and nobody ever changes their opinion. I told you so when it suits you, rest of the time more quiet and that's about it.

Even though we might have seen this coming based on the end of his first spell here, I still had hope he could atleast add some stability to the team and have some kind of an effective gameplan.

But seeing him last season and now, I am seriously considering the option that he returned just in spite and wants to troll the ones who wanted him out the club in the first place. Now he is back with a premium salary, cant be fired and can have fun in his press talk. After this he will retire and have fun with his supermodels. This is the only plausible reason I can think of to explain some of his actions and comments.

The other possible reason is ofcourse he lost his mind and is not up for the task anymore.

The question is why expect much better? We sold Dybala. Pogba, Di Maria, and Chiesa were injured.

The team available last night was worse than the team that finished last season.

Things still look better now on the field, if only slightly. The team has started this season more solid than it did the last.

When we had Di Maria in the lineup against Sassuolo there was a big difference. The same effect should be seen with Pogba and Chiesa. In the mean time we are downgraded and the mercato must improve the team in the last days.
While I agree about the squad being downgraded, it still underperformed by a countrymile and should do way better

I mean

CBs pass the ball towards each other 500 times against Samp because Dybala left and Chiesa is injured? Come on.

These non-performances against small teams are all on Max and nobody else. Against big international teams? Yep I'll allow the mercato argument. Against Sampdoria? Nein

And it's not like Arrivabene and Nedved will sit down with allegri be like 'OK, so you should play better football' and he's like 'OK, I think it's time'. No. Allegri will stay like he is unless, I don't know, he will get to train some English side and will see how his methods are not working. So basically there is only one way - release the coach.

And medical staff/physios/fitness coaches.

I don't know who are the mods here, but you also need to suck it up, man up, and let that Rus guy back in. Because your boys (trying not to say anything offensive) ganged up on him and he was banned while talking the truth (most of the time )

Sent from my ...
Agreed. He's frequently online it seems but not able to join the discussion. He was right on a lot of things and I think the mods should unban him (and jager). I'd love to hear what they're thinking after all of this.

This brings me back to my initial post from last night.

It’s like he thinks we still have prime Chiellini, Barzagli and Bonucci building out from the back and passing it around waiting for the right moment to penetrate while in reality in the first half we were defending with 3 CB’s block consisting of Rugani - Bremer - AlexSandro plus Danillo as RWB and we had no clue what we are doing when having the ball, nobody in their right mind could have ever thought lining up that way could have given us any sort of advantage…
I haven’t yet lost all trust in him as i know what a difference can one or two top players being available can make but he clearly needs to do much better in terms of adapting to the squad currently available to him.

These discussions whether it was Tici , Marotta or whoever to blame for this or that, serves no purpose whatsoever tbh. Its in the past and whats done is done.

The choice is still there to fix these issues or continue to dig our graves even deeper.

- The match yesterday was a clear indication of this squads glaring depth issues and limitations. It has been obvious to anyone with half a footballing brain for some time, but yesterday was one of the biggest proof of it so far. If Max cant see these issues and fail to act upon them, there can be no defence of it whatsoever and his positon has to be under big question marks. No other option. And this is coming from a pro Allegri stan such as myself.

I will personally hold my final judgement on the coach/leadership for these issues :

Concerns and problems that needs to be adressed

- Either Max swallows his pride for once and admits this squad is completely crippled in midfield (either fix it by bringing someone in, or start giving our youngsters a chance). He simply must be able to adapt to this situation :

Or, the alternative: continuing with the same jihad setup, means we will have to rely on Pogba to slot in when he returns and pretty much fix these problems alone, which im not very hopeful of and would lead to an over-reliance on one player.

- Imo: bring in Depay: he may be a douchebag but would at least give us some depth and creative output. Beggars cant be choosers.

- Milik should be an absolute no go. He represents everything we dont need.

- Paredes should only be taken on loan, or a short term contract as an absolute emergency fix.

- Keep our youngsters and play them: loaning out Fagioli etc makes no sense in our current situation, unless they are replaced with someone useful.

- Do what is necessary to make a push for the likes of SMS as soon as possible: this midfield needs surgery and we have to prioritize it asap.

These issues and how they will be managed will show if this coach has any drip left in him or if its time to go. Because you have to be absolutely blind to not be concerned with yesterdays match.

Watched it on beIN sport and paraphrasing announcer toward end of 1st half on Max …. “he’s being paid very well to find solutions” and toward end of 2nd half “even with all the injuries and absent players, Juve should beat Samp, especially this Samp which had more players leave that come this summer.”

Disappointing to say the least but maybe a goal would have come if Miretti and Rovella were starting in place of Rabiot and McKennie. The fire and creativity those two brought onto the field

I’m starting to question Max’s abolity to evaluate the best players to put on the pitch.

I would love to see this team in the PL for one season. After getting humiliated 10 games running maybe they'd all realise the importance of playing with some fucking energy

I don't think I can recall a supposed top 4 club in any league who looks as lethargic as us. I've seen better team pressing from my local shit league £10 a ticket side.

We are 19th (bottom 2) for run distance covered after 2 matches. We can't even beat Samp team as the worst run distance covered (least pressing team).
Inter is no. 2 with 111.3 km on average and Milan is no. 2 with 109.8 km. Almost 20km more than our team. But yet our players injured like flies. There reasons why Milan and Inter is challenging for scudetto

Last night MU ran 113.8 km on total against Liverpool and won. Against Brentford they only ran 95.6 km as a team. It's 19 km improvement. They run more, chase more with high intensity and effort. And it paid off

There are reason Kulu and De Ligt said the training their experienced after Juve is more intense. Allegri should ask more from the team.

The sad part about all of this is that it doesn't really matter who the coach is. This group of players is beyond redemption. Prime Lippi would fight for CL spot with them and we would suffer watching it all the same.

Allegri 2018 sucked, Sarri sucked, Pirlo sucked and Allegri sucks again.

That being said Allegri is way too stubborn and his way of handling prospects is absurd. He is probably done as a top coach. But the team won't change with or without him.

We need to:

1. Get rid of 90% of players. Get a group of hungry and strong-willed new generetion of players like we did in 2011-2014.
2. Get a coach with experience and vision to work with the new group of players for 3 years at least.
3. ?????
4. Profit (we make it to CL 1/4 again).
