I don't understand. Why does he almost always fuck things up in the 1st leg? :boh:

It's baffling. Last season, it cost us. Fortunately, this season, thus far, we have been able to surpass all obstacles unscathed. I also have to question his insistence on sticking with Mandzukic and Folletti and that other faggot.
Seriously, how did he fuck up tonight? He didn't start his 'favorite' Khedira, nor De Sciglio. Mario was there but he was subbed very early in the 2nd half for an attacking winger. Then again when Matuidi got injured he didn't put Khedira in but your guy Dybala who did absolutely nothing when Ajax was dead tired and he on fresh legs.

Allegri clearly came through with his promise to go for goals (plural) and players completely failed to deliver.

We've been quite bad away from home for a while now. Lost to Atletico and Genoa 2-0 and even struggled a bit against Bologna. Thankfully at home we are pretty great.

What did you want Dybala to do in 15 minutes you imp? I'm not questioning his selections, but it's a trend that we always screw up in the 1st leg of a knockout tie. The result was positive, but the performance was shit. Sure, some blame must lie with the players, but why can't we play a good first leg? I struggle to recall the last time we actually had a decent 1st leg performance. Perhaps it was back in 2017? :boh:

Not lose every ball and actually do something forward with the time and space he was given by a tired team.

We played that badly because 3-4 players had absolute nightmare games out there. Cancelo fucked up a goal, Pjanić was a ghost, Mario listless, Bernardeschi nonexistent in the second half. And most of those errors were completely unforced or at least avoidable.

You can't say 'positive result' and screwed up in the same sentence. Overall play wasn't very good but we still had great chances to score a second goal. Last year against Tottenham wasn't too bad either. If Higuain hadn't been drunk we would've scored 4 goals in the 1st half.

 It was a positive result, but a very underwhelming performance. I'm sure we'll get it right in the 2nd leg, but I'm worried about that one time when we don't. It's inevitable; it's bound to happen at some point.

Both times we got to the final we cruised through the KO phases and especially in 1st legs. Now it's the opposite. Hopefully the end result too.

It already did happen, you muppet. You forgetting Atletico first leg? ;)
Nah Brotato. I mean I'm worried about that one time we don't get it right in the 2nd leg :scared:

I'm quite confident we'll go through, but we can't afford to keep doing this shit, as it'll eventually come back to bite us in the ass.

I'm ok with reaching the final and fucking up in the 1st half, as long as we turn it around in the 2nd tho :p

Show respect or don't come back here
He shows up in this thread every time there is a result that isn't a victory or often times after a victory but a performance that isn't popular here. Absent otherwise.

Too many folks showing up to this thread with only negativity, regardless of the overall picture of season, that should be treated as spam/ trolling when it is mindless complaints. imo it would benefit from similar strict moderation that was applied to the Conte thread to cut down on the saps who clog it up with nonsense.
