Martin Caceres was forced to leave the pitch during the match due to a muscle problem in his left thigh, which will be assessed by the Juventus medical team in the next few hours.

I just watch the recorded game again. He got injured trying to stop El Sharawy counter after our error. He remove the ball in the last moment. He is always useful but this season he is a beast.Very clever, light legs, dangereous in attack etc.Came quick Martin.

Bonucci is too slow to play as RCB.
Which is why Allegri was correct to put Ogbonna on the right against Milan.

People get far too hung up on sides when it comes to centre-halves.

Style of play is far, far more important than whether you are playing on your theoretically stronger side.

Incidentally, Caceres's challenge on Menez early on the game was a thing of beauty.

Absolutely textbook piece of intimidation from a defender on a forward early in the game.

When a high ball comes, jump high and early and get your knee up in front of you and whack the forward from behind.

That'll make the forward think twice about whether he fancies getting into physcial challenges and it'll have him him worried whenever he's getting the ball with his back to goal for the rest of the game.

no need to play Vidal as a CB. Ogbonna can handle the job until Barza/Martin are back. and besides, we can always field a back four with Chiellini-Bonucci/Ogbonna at CB
