Its simple

Tuttosport filled the heads of the lesser gifted with Falcao's, Di Maria's, Sanchez, Isco etc during the summer. And they took it for truth.

I like him. Would have preferred getting him instead of Pereyra 100%.

We need better though.

More Germans please.

Falcao --> Podolski --> Gabbiadini

Even if we do get PoDUMPski, what is he going to add?

Nothing.

Oooooohhhhhhhh, watch out for that stiff Wolfsburg competition!

No. I've seen him with Olympiakos, he is very talented but i want to judge him first, with a team like Arsenal.
but then the price would go up by millions. let's buy him now for 5-6m and see him develop. He proved himself against italy and manchester united which is enough for me..

I dont see him fitting in our system... He is def. A good counterattacking player.... But when was the Last Time we counter attacked .... He is okayish but too wasteful for my liking

Feel bad for him, he's barely going to get any game time with Ibra and Falcao joining us shortly.

I love the Tuz. When we are linked to a player, we try to convince ourselves that he is Da Shit and would do well here. He goes from a mediocre player at another club to automatic fapping material simply because he shall be donning our club colors.

If Roma, Milan, or Napoli were to push for Podolski and get him, I am sure the same people who were potentially fapping to this deal, would label him a sack of shit and not good enough, etc...

Hypocrites :howler:

You obviously have little to no clue what you are talking about and I prob waste my time, but anyway.

Podolski is very underrated and offers some specific skills, that very few players offer. Wenger the fool should have known from the beginning, that he isnt a lw. His main strength is a leathal finish..his left foot is simple outstanding and world class. His passing and understanding of the game is also ok, but he cannot work the flank and dribble past defenders...his defensive awareness is ok, but not enough for the wing, where he has constantly support the LB.

His best position, and that has been clear since he went back to Cologne, is the SS role..roaming around the CF and having many goalscoring opportunities..perfectly suited for a counter attacking team. During his last weeks at Bayern, when Heynckes became short term solution, he played that role there too and convinced totally..the decision to leave Bayern was already done and dusted though..who knows what would have happened, if Heynckes would have come in earlier. He can also play as a CF, but less effective of course.

Then a remark to Wolfsburg. They have endless money through VW and if VW decide to invest heavily, then fasten ur seatbells. Do u even have an idea how big VW is? Fiat is a joke compared to them. They wanted Lukaku badly and were ready to offer 30m€+ for him..the cash is there. They already pay very high wages or why do u think players like Gustavo and de Bruyne went there? There is potential in that team and they can pay 8m€ gross easily.

It depends on what the asking price from Arsenal and Podolski are.

If they're somewhat manageable we could try it.

He's running a lot and has a huge left foot, scoring quite some goals. Though, he's limited technically and does make mistakes(losing the ball going forwards, missing a defensive assignment) at times.

On the plus side, we'd certainly gain momentum on the twitter/facebook/instagram front, given that he's the selfie king of the world and would have us trending all over the place. :D
