I'm reading that it is 400K for the loan move, but even at that, it is a bargain, a big bargain. With no obligation to buy either? Excellent work.

If we do want him after this season, I bet Marotta will even have the nerve to try to re-negotiate the fee with them, down to 12 mill :beppe:

c'mon there is no way Marotta got Osvaldo for free, or any sort of low fee signing.

Obvisoult there is a cacth, like an obligation to buy for 20 million. This is the narotta way

Exactly.

I have no idea why are people pissed at this point.

I'd understand if we signed him under other circumstances, like obligation or something.
This guy is so much better than the Anelka, Borriello, Bendtner's of this world, and they got him for 6 months for 400K.

This was a steal, and will provide so much more than the aforementioned other strikers that were brought in the past few years at this time

no, southampton is just trying to limit the damages here, instead of selling him at a big loss now or risking more loss by not playing him till summer they figured he can play for us and try to show potential summer suitors hes still got it. It's a win win for them.

Don't forget the plus side for Southampton - form at a big team like Juve + a possible World Cup appearance off the back of that retains his value and draws other interest.

I'm not pissed but it's kinda of a weird deal, either Southampton are really stupid or Marotta truly rates the guy and is gonna pay that 20mil, if so he'll be dumbest fvcktard ever. :boh:
But if he's fooled them then he's truly a genius :D

that is not what I am saying, jendeh.

What I mean is this is marotta negotiating an italian player signing. His track record is not very positivve in that regard.

Southahmpton is going to milk this deal to the core for a medicore player. Marotta doesn't deserve praise for this move at all.
