We can't sell because Quag is being a leech and Conte obviously doesn't plan on playing him anymore since we're getting Osvaldo.

Thiam and Fiorillo seem like strange ones.

Fiorello looked like he as going to be great when he was coming through a few years ago then has done nothing.

What about Zappacosta did we sign him?
    unofficially. :D

    You simply can't sell Quaginte.
You could've sold him to Lazio last mercato, of this one too, if you were willing to sell cheaper than your asking price. When the club refuses an offer, you can't blame the player. It's a club in Italy, and he'd like to stay in the peninsula. He even offered a move to Samp, but the clubs didnt agree on a fee and what ended up happening was him rejecting most of the offers that came from abroad, he's entitled to do that IMO. Can't blame him to be honest. He even took a pay cut to move to Lazio mind you, so I don't see how it's a Iaquints comparison, plus he can still be a useful payer when given a chance. I really don't see how your 4th/5th or even 6th choice forward (as some would like) leaving, makes it better for the club in a mid season market window.

I think the players also feel a little unsettled in a loan deal. It means they don't really have closure, if the circumstances turn against them in the event that the team that loans the doesn't buy them. It means they have to readjust their lifestyle, future at then club that owns them etc etc. At 31 years of age, neither Quag, Vuci or most players in their position would want to go through that.
True. I think, mostly we should at this point be accepting any offer over 5 mil for Quags. He's 31, we only paid 10.5 million for him 3.5 seasons ago. He's really not worth more than 5-7 mil as whoever signs him, it's his last stop really. He has no future resale value.

Now Gio, we should loan if we can't get rid of Quags or Vuci. He's young still and could do well on loan, and attract some interest from it. Loan him to mid-table counterattacking side.

5mins left. Nothing is gonna happen.

    GKs: Buffon, Storari

Defenders: Barzagli, Bonucci, Chiellini, Lichtsteiner, Peluso, Caceres, Ogbonna

Midfielders: Vidal, Pirlo, Pogba, Marchisio, Padoin, Isla, Asamoah, Pepe

Forwards: Llorente, Tevez, Osvaldo, Vucinic, Giovinco, Quagliarella

    - - - Updated - - -

I wonder if having 4 strikers like Llorente, Tevez, Osvaldo and Vucinic will force a formation change?

I think that's why we were in for Guarin too. Conte maybe thinking about it, though I don't know if the 4312 is an optimal formation. However, the lack of wingers may cause him to experiment with that, given Osvaldo's arrival. Starting perhaps in the Europa? Never know.
