Ok, I have to admit that I am loving the smoothness of Gnome. I really am.

I am no longer after the looks, I just want something clean and apparently I've been missing out on such stability that Ubuntu offers.

Just to pimp the system a bit, some classical KDE applications have to be installed.

Took me 2 hrs 55 mins to update (download and install)... Fairly easy process...

The OS looks neat, and seems faster than the Jaunty Jackalope... The boot time is slower though (at least thats the first impression)...
Haha funny, I'm using the same wallpaper.

Good to finally see some wallpapers that are somewhat usable.

I love the way they're paying more attention to appearance/UI. Very nice.

:agree:

After a long time of not even trying a GNOME OS, that was my impression as well, after booting up the current Mint. It's polished, fast, responsive...top notch to be honest. Didn't miss KDE at all.

Geek. :D

I can't take my eyes of the smurfs. Funny and so beautiful at the same time. I wish I knew how to spam, I'd spam the whole forum with it. :p

I said "I know of the man", meaning I've heard about him, read about him in articles, knew what he does, etc. but never saw his picture or head any interest in googling it.
