have to say i was dissapointed with Ubuntu's latest offering, it ran slower,Amarok stoopped working and i had massive problems streaming games, fuck kows what was going on but Mint works lovely
Not really, BSD isn't very interesting. Not for desktop users. At best you can get a similar experience to Linux, but there are less applications and it's not really worth it.
Not in linux. You just keep a list of programs that you had installed and feed that list to the package manager which will install them one by one. As for your settings and configuration stuff that remains on your system, don't have to set up every program from scratch.
this is the way my man but..here nobody has linux installed...all are windows fans ...and i'm tired of learing the ways of another operating system, windows 98 was tough for the first year + i haven't formatted my hard drive or reinstalled windows for 3 years.
