Look guys, I don't think it's necessary to see everything in black and white. Personally I'm a kde user and I'm seriously annoyed with many things in kde4. That's because I'm more critical about things I care about than things that don't affect me. That doesn't mean I hate KDE. And it doesn't mean I hate Gnome either for that matter. Gnome has some really bonehead attitudes on some things, but that doesn't make it all bad.

Why don't we curtail the religious attitudes.

Lol I'm just fooling around, honestly. I used KDE 3.5 for more than a year but KDE 4 is way to buggy for me and i don't have the time to work on it!

I have no idea on how to configure Microsoft Exchange servers.

.sh files are installs as root with sh <filename>

On the other hand, I am having difficulties configuring my email account on Android.
i tried running Sudo sh xxxx.sh, but it said that it couldnt find Java. I installed Java using Synaptic, but it still didnt run. I couldnt find it in the programs list.

What didn't you find in the programs list? Java? I think Java is a bit tricky, one has to be sure which package one has to install. There are many to choose from. I usually choose Sun Java and now I have Sun Java 6
