Death toll mounts as Libyan security forces target protesters
Amnesty International has accused the Libyan authorities of recklessly shooting at anti-government protesters after the organization learned that at least 46 people had been shot dead by security forces in the last 72 hours.
Sources at al-Jala hospital in Benghazi today told Amnesty International that patients' most common injuries were bullet wounds to the head, chest and neck.
"This alarming rise in the death toll, and the reported nature of the victims' injuries, strongly suggests that security forces are permitted use lethal force against unarmed protesters calling for political change," said Malcolm Smart, Amnesty International's director for the Middle East and North Africa
"The Libyan authorities must immediately, rein in their security forces. Those responsible for unlawful killings and excessive force – both the direct perpetrators and those who gave the orders – must be identified and brought to justice."
Sources at al-Jala hospital have reported 28 fatalities from yesterday’s protests in Benghazi with more than 110 people injured, and at least three further deaths in today’s protests.
At least 15 people are reported to have been killed yesterday during "Day of Rage" protests in the city of Al Bayda, 100 km east of Benghazi.

in libya what do they have i mean organization wise. i know they have an army, i meant police wise do they have like amen markazi guys who are the long hand of the ruler or thats the army's task in libya?? if its policemen then i think its only going to happen in the first few days after wards as the number of people increases the police will have to stand down there is no way they will keep going on simply bec there is a humanity part here dictators never thought of, true the majority fire weapons with out thinking its like they r programmed but there are many exceptions. for instance in tunisia and egypt some of the police men simply refused to follow orders bec they automatically started thinking that there own blood can be in these protests they soo violently tear apart so here is hoping the same happens in libya bec that would speed the falling of the system and bring it down nearly completely. the mercenaries, bullies, and looters well they r all the same, libyans should start having small teams like the ones we had here to protect there nieghborhoods if the bastard plays the dirty game of pulling the police and letting chaos and fear bring back people down to there knees. i hope they get to do this bec after seeing the vid's and photos posted in this thread its not human. it scares me how people can do this with soo much coldness!!!

he flipped out a long long time ago!! nothing surprises me from these people. these guys would go to extremes to stay in power u have no idea they literally flip out when they feel its being taken from them! examples well take saddam for instance he lost the plot completely in his last days, mubarak, ben ali, all flip out and thats simply bec of all the harsh and brutal things they did to people its only fair they get that in return. the same will happen to this bastard, bec only a nut case would poison the water source of his own people and youth to remain in power. if anything libyans should see this as a point for them he is now trying other methods which he will soon run out off.

step two send merceneries, bullies, convicts all u can find just to strike fear in them and bring them to there knees and beg for yr stay. thats fails please go to step three
step three: first use yr powerful media and play down these riots as they represent a minority also in the same time keep the fear going on as to make people who hate the dictators guts too feel that sure we hate him but our lives were better and so a new group is formed a pro dictator group goes out to face the anti protesters off cuorse goes with out saying use complete demoralizing words to describe the people protesting as people with agenda's blah blah. if that fails send in camels and horses bec we r still in the midevil times what is facebook in front of horses and camel hoofs.
p.s note: goes with out saying decrease the number of food and essential material to lessen the period of protesting. and pray the army never goes to the street or else yr butt is on fire.
also please try to play the sympathy card in ghadaffi remind the people how u released them from the evils of there previous king etc etc.
repeat if necessary. if all fails then pack yr bags forget the clothes pile in the money and get on a plane or chopper and head to sharem where yr tent awaits u and u can check out the hot babes there.

Yup thats true, the East is now almost officially independent, Geddaffi has no control over the East. The army there has joined the people, and is now fighting the mercenaries, one of Gaddaffi's former lieutenants declared that they no longer answer to Geddaffi. Forza the East.
