Damn man... Sometimes logic flies over your head... At other times it flies way over your head.
what exactly you fail to perceive as logical??
I tried to explain it in detail, so that you may understand, name the parts you find difficult to compute.

The bottom line is that we have paid 15.5mil+ the profit we could have made, if it wasnt from the price cuts we did to sweeten the Bonucci deal, is that clear enough for you now?
Considering the market values of the player, it is 19mil, IMO we lost more due to Criscito's potential and our needs.

Our mercato is 100% failure. We don't have a stadium that seats 150,000 people and our starting line-up does not look like this:

Valdes
Dani Alves-Mascherano-Pique-Abidal
Xavi
Fabregas-Iniesta
Villa-Messi-Sanchez

Bench:
Aguero, C.Ronaldo, Xabi, Rooney, Vidic, Evra, Robben, Ribery, David Silva, Busquets

But I bet he's even more disappointed that Marotta/Agnelli/Elkann didn't invent a time machine so we could play all these players in their primes (realistically):

Buffon
Thuram Montero Cannavaro Zambrotta
Pirlo Davids
Zidane
Del Piero Trezeguet Nedved

Bench: Maradona, Pele, Zico, Ronaldo (Brazillian), Beckenbauer, Zoff, Baggio, Cantona, Conte, Romario, Platini, Scirea, Ferrara, Deschamps, Henry, Luis Figo and Kaka.

You are exagerating again, in a pathetic attempt to defame/discredit me.
When did i demanded such players???
When did i demanded Man city like mercatos??
On the contrary, i was always the one to remind you that the Aqueros are unrealistic.

Since we returned back in serie A i was only demanding 2 starters/season, just Juve material, if not WC ones.
2 new starters for every position, mean a full squad in 5 years.
A competitive team we ought to have by now, but we dont because we are keep wasting most of our budget on new SS and CM each and ecery year for the past 5 consecutive years!
Its as simple as that.

IMO Melo and Quaq were not our weakest links.
IMo our budget is limited. So wjat to do? As i pointed out from 1st June, do NOT spend more money on CMs and SSs
Do NOT spend more money on squad players.
Spend ALL of our money on 2-3 QUALITY starters, on the places we suffer the most (defense, left wing)

And Marotta did exactly the opposite for the 6th consecutive time...

By keeping Melo and not signing Vucinic, we could have bought a CB even better than Lugano or Alex and a winger far better than Elia.
Scrapping all the little useless subs like Giacherrini and EstiG a far better LB than Zeglier too, was this too difficult to achieve?

We brought the likes of Andrade, Diego and Amauri...they were all "Juve material" at the time being, but they all failed to perform. Shit happens you know.

they did not fail ass much as the weaklings like Molinaro we were keeping instead of them...
even if some will fail, a team full of 15-25mil players will be more competitive than a team with 15-25mil SSs CMs and 0.5 mil wingbacks, wingers...
our defense was failing the most but we are keep investing on forwards and offensive mids

Did you know it all along?

Anyway, it's kinda funny how a team of weaklings achieved really good results (and a more than decent defensive record as well), while things completely turned to shit when we added >20 million players.

And no, I'm not saying that was entirely the fault of those players. What I'm saying is that your "logic" is, as often, flawed.

What good results, since the last good year of DP and Neddy finally hanging his shoes, we are struggling...

And you dont have to know who will fail and who wont,
again i repeat a 25mil player for every position, respects our annual budget of 50mil and even if some of them fail, they will still be more decent players than some of our current starters, and the ones who wont fail will carry the team to better performances.
But the important part is, that even our weakest link will be a decent player and around great players, he will do even better.
We are as strong as our weakest link, we permit our weakest links to be many and very very weak, by keep investing on the same positions.

Investing on 2 players/season is minimum risk and a slow but certain road to become competitive in 5 years,
as history has proved, we would gain nothing from the squad players we prefered over the quality ones.
As we never had any real chances to win anything, esp with such coaches...

When I first heard this rumor my first reaction was, "why the fuck would he accept this move?".

I'm sad.
