Barzagli wasn't good at all. He was better than Bonucci at times, but that's only because Bonucci was very poor at times. If you think Barzagli is an improvement over him than all I can do is say good luck with that.

I am not saying Barzagli is a better player, what I am saying is that if selling Bonucci means acquiring a better starting CB with Barzagli on the bench I am fine with that.

No, not like that at all. It's supposed to be a swap deal. If it's not, then it's a stupid deal because we'll end up scrapping around for a 4th DC and overpaying for someone.

Then ask Marotta why he bought the player in the first place. He's an idiot, we all know that, but no matter what we'll have a loss for the player. He's still relatively young for a CB, so I don't see the point in shipping him off just yet. Confidence is a variable that fluctuates constantly after all.

We're just doing everything wrong. Nothing makes sense in our transfer policies, nothing.
