So he has missed yet another pre season prep and yet another start of the season?
Hopefully this will be the last time. Anyways we cannot exoect anything from him this season.
When does his contract expires, this year or the next?

missing pre seasons are never good but it isn't always the end of the world. Morata missed most of the pre-season last season and become lethal and crucial come the finals of the CL. I think Sturaro and Pereyra can cover that midfield role until Khedira and Asamoah return to full fitness. Asamoah can play a major role due to his versatility.

Why? Because he missed the pre-season? I guess we shouldn't have expected anything from Morata last season too.

Cronios is talking cra like always, but his point remains.

We will need to see in which condition asamoah returns. And he will need time to recover after being fit. I dont know if our midfield can afford to give him that time.

Do you know this guy called "Vidal" ? Former Juventus player, went to Bayern this summer.

How long did he take after his injury to return to his better form ?

Yeah, shut up.

What is his point, exactly?

That we shouldn't expect anything from Asamoah this year because he missed the pre-season?

Cronios said that he didnt expect much cause he's been injured for a long time and missed preseason.

Preseason could be a factor, but that injury definatly is so yeah, not expecting too much too soon from him.I'll be glad to see him on the field

You really can't read, can you? He said "this season" not "too soon".

Asamoah is coming from a serious injury and is going to return with the team in 2 weeks. Of course nobody is expecting him to return to his best from next month. We're still in August. Season ends in June. Of course we are expecting good things from him this season.

And why did you even bring Vidal to this discussion? Do you intentionally want to look ignorant? It's definitely working. Was Vidal useless all season because he was coming from a big injury?

Please, do dig further.

Vidal was injured and took a while to become close to form
Same can be expected from asamoah

Not sure how much preseason does to a player thats not new here.

Lets leave it there, unless you disagree ?

That's what I just said, so you basically had no point other than trying to make a fool out of myself, which you failed and in turn you made a fool out of yourself.

Sergiou

His point is that Asamoah is unreliable as of today...and IMO it would be a HUGE gamble to put our money on him as a reliable sub for the midfield. He could very well do a Vidal and take a whole season to be competitive again... hence..we will most likely lose objectives on the process if we dont have a proper back up while he recovers.

I could be wrong... but the amount of time he has been out of rhytmn, and the mystery of his injury could very well take some time to fix.
