Of course because we don't need his defensive work against such sides but we need someone sending balls like there's no tomorrow. De Ceglie would do better agains Cagliaris and Bolognas. I would even play Pogba in a non-conventional 3-5-2 against smaller sides.

Fact is that he's still a very good player, who's still probably too good to bench. It's quite an awkward situation. I can't say that we have been dropping points with him as LWB, but our attacking play would surely be smoother and more effective with a proper wing back.

A bit underrated around here, I guess some have forgotten how awful De Ceglie is. Asamoah had a good first half, playing out of position. He is an excellent CM.
