Of course because we don't need his defensive work against such sides but we need someone sending balls like there's no tomorrow. De Ceglie would do better agains Cagliaris and Bolognas. I would even play Pogba in a non-conventional 3-5-2 against smaller sides.
Fact is that he's still a very good player, who's still probably too good to bench. It's quite an awkward situation. I can't say that we have been dropping points with him as LWB, but our attacking play would surely be smoother and more effective with a proper wing back.

A beast defensively, and even though he may be frustrating at times offensively, it's not as if he's completely rubbish going forward. Has the ability to assist and score. I love him, and when fit he should always start.

Similar to Lichtsteiner, you feel 100% secure with him locking down the flank, and you know that he is only average offensively. Yet both feel undroppable.

He should take those runs like he did against Parma for Lichtstieners goal more often. He's very strong, Can't just push a guy like him away.
