Unless I am forgetting someone, we got our best youngsters-teenagers in the last 10-15 years from big clubs (Pogba from United, Coman from PSG). Yıldız looks like a potential star. We got him from Bayern.
You see where I am going with this. We can't sign establish stars. The best we can do is to steal potential superstars from the big teams, by offering them better deals, which the big teams won't offer to kids. Unfortunately, we will lose them once they turn 22-24, but that's the reality.
Should be a part of our business model to be honest. Unlike PL teams we have the ‘advantage’ of playing in a lesser league and therefore we should have more opportunities to play such players. Hopefully we’ll consider both Iling and Yildiz as part of that list in the near future.

Who is Nicola Balice and how does he have insight into Allegri's tactical plans?
while i agree with your point you trying to make..... it's not out of the question. this same guy played cuadrado as rwb in 2015, mandzukic as a LM in 2017, dybala as am in 2019 and chiesa as a lwb. it's very believable

Yeah it's believable, so he probably posts stuff that he knows will get shared 100,000 times

They dont get to the CL final without that mandzukic move (I'd argue he was our MVP that season) and the cuadrado switch saved his career. So it's not necessarily a bad thing.

cuadrado is understanble because he did start his career as a rb anyway.

mandzukic is not. we need to stop giving him credit for these moves. guardiola gets ridiculed for same thing, but here allegri is a genius apparently.

I can't stand Allegri's tactics but moving Mandzukic to LM made our team amazing in 2016, we became so much more unpredictable and attack-minded. Yeah, I know its hard to believe considering the last two years of sleep inducing defensive garbage but we were fun to watch when Allegri made that move... it brought life to the team and I think that was the last time Juve played beautiful football.

it's hard to credit it to one move, and not the fact team was loaded with higuain, pjanic, khedira, dani alves, dybala, buffon, chiellini, evra and cuadrado. all A+ players.

it’s why Mandzukic was one of my favorite Juve players ever, no one else could’ve made that work except him. His engine was unreal, gave it everything he had every single game, just totally unselfish and made everyone around him better. He was the glue of that squad, no doubt in my mind.

I think just being able to fit the 3 of Dybala, Higuain, and the monster who is Mandzukic in one line up was so satisfying to watch for me. Because prior to the winter break Allegri kept switching back and forth and failing majorly at the right duo up front. Credit to Mandzukic and to the rest of the players that made it work, but I can't negate that Allegri was also the coach at that time. I just hold hope that maybe he'll pull another one out of his hat like that again, even if its pure luck, I miss enjoying Juve.

Who was the 4th striker that ended up being solo on the bench? I recall us having 4 and 3 playing when the tactical switch was made.
