Fourth, like a proud dad watching his only son that made it.

Only seen highlights, but I would be shocked if this dude didn't turn out to be the best youth player to come through in many years.
I've watched quite a few of his full games and I'd have to agree. He plays like a man amongst boys and I struggle to understand why he hasn't been put with Next Gen yet. He would probably (almost definitely) stand out even playing for Next Gen in Serie C against grown men.

I saw someone throw out a young benzema comparison and I thought that was pretty spot on, even if it creates high expectations.

    Bigger talent than Giovinco?
Because Giovinco was the most talented player we've had in Juve primavera in the last 20 years.

doesn’t rate Fagioli but thinks Giovinco is the biggest talent to come through the system in the last 20 years. Makes sense actually.

Giovinco was the most talented for sure..
But He was mentally fragile as much talent as he had.

Yildiz on the other hand seems mentally strong,
Talent-wise, I learned to wait and see.

One example comes to my mind now.. Inter had Esposito with Conte who was talented and mentally strong (arrogant) and where is he now?

With all those youth players.. I learned to wait...

Lets put it this way: if you were here in 2007, you'd have masturbated on Giovinco 10 times harder than you masturbate on these kids of today.
Giovinco didn't have a great career, not even a good one. His talent obviously wasn't big enough to compensate for his physicality. But these youngsters today don't even come close to the expectations the Juve fans and the Azzurri fans had in Giovinco. Even legends like Trezeguet were thrilled to watch a 19-20 years old Giovinco and expected him to become a great player.
It was impossible to do it with that body of a 9 year old, though.

With all those youth players.. I learned to wait...
Exactly. We've seen tens of them failing, while the expectations were high. That's why I laugh at this pedophile Danielsz and some others who think that all these kids will become stars.

Giovinco was most talented maybe but he never had an obvious position on the pitch.

Giovinco was certainly the most outstanding player amongst his peers that I've seen. Kean second, but in a different way. A personal choice for third would probably be Palladino.

Giovinco was the second best player I've seen us produce behind Marchisio. He was an absolute standout even for the Azzurrini.

I actually think he was a better player than he gets credit for. His lack of physique held him back but he could easily have had a very good Serie A career had he not chosen to go to the MLS so early in his career. He had a few good games for us too (also a lot of not so good ones). Conte's rigid 3-5-2 probably didn't help him, not that I think he'd have ever been a consistent starter for us.

Fingers crossed the youngsters coming through can surpass them.
