agreed on the basic point. thing is that there is always a possibility to move players between next gen and the first team. see miretti, fagioli, barrenechea, iling & co who started at the next gen and were permanently moved to the senior squad. i think kaio needs continuity above all. he missed a complete season due to that injury, so it would be nice to have him play regularly for a few months before testing him in the first team. it's like a dry loan with different caveats: normally when you loan a player you don't have any control over his playtime during his loan, now we have the control and we can have him back anytime but he'll play at a lower level of competition. considering the circumstances i think i'm fine with that.
