The terrible evening of Athens 1983, is remebered by all the Juventus fans not only for the defeat in the Champions League; it was also the last match for Roberto Bettega as a Bianconero. The legendary "Bobby Gol" left Torino to end his carreer as a footballer in Canada, to be back then, after ten years, as manager.
Saturday, March 24 2007, almost 24 years after that event, another Bettega is wearing again the Juventus shirt. He is his son Alessandro, who was still not born, that terrible evening. Born 1987, hinge of the midfield and captain for the Primavera of Vincenzo Chiarenza, he had the chance to make his debut against Standard Liege, which his father - and that's another fate's sign - eliminated during the journey that led to the final against
