Welcome Juventus Membership

An exclusive club, allowing supporters access to a world of discounts, gifts and services 'made in Juventus'. Following the European example of clubs such as FC Barcelona, Manchester United and Real Madrid, Juventus are the first in Italy to launch a specific affiliation programme aimed at fans.

This is Juventus Membership: a programme established to deepen the ties between the supporters and the club and to widen the community of fans. It's open to everyone and easy to join, by using a simple postal form, or directly on the internet. It's a new way of supporting Juventus and sharing our passion, also thanks to an exclusive new website (www.juventusmember.com) where fans will be able to talk about their love for Juventus, read Max Pisu's blogs, download games and photos, and find information on how to contact the team directly.

THE MEMBERSHIP
Juventus fans can show their loyalty to the club by choosing one of two types of membership: “Member” and “Special”.

Both will allow fans access to special offers and discounts: with the former, Juventus Member, you get a selection of free gifts (standard membership card, personal certificate, autographed Juventus team photo, fortnightly newsletter), access to the website and a personalized e-mail address. The latter, Juventus Special Member, offers the same benefits plus an even greater range of services, including special rates on seasonal and single tickets, discounted subscription rates to the monthly magazine “Hurrà Juventus", special offers in connection with Juventus Channel, access to the private area of the website, special deals by Juventus sponsors, entry into exclusive competitions and a free gilded pin, not available anywhere else.

You can sign up for a Juventus Membership by post (by sending the coupon available on the www.juventus.com website to Juventus F.C., Casella Postale 1074, 10125, Torino, together with the receipt of your fee payment on the Current Account nr.81522708, made out to Juventus F.C. SpA) and through the internet, in the relevant section of the juventusmember.com website. All fans that join must agree with the terms of an ethical agreement reminding them of the values associated with Juventus and the principles that have inspired this particular venture.

THE WEBSITE
The new www.juventusmember.com website, which can be accessed exclusively by official Juventus Members, will become the club's new "virtual home" and will be divided into six main areas: Io sono Juventino (I am a Juventus fan) (a part of the site where fans can send each other messages, photos, change their profile, interact with blogs written by famous Juventus fans such as the comedian Max Pisu, watch the video interviews - only available to "special" members - and contribute to the online museum of Juventus memorabilia, made up entirely of items belonging to fans), Mementus (the section where fans can recount their most special, amusing and unforgettable Juventus-related moments, through videos, images and stories), Juventinity (the part of the site dedicated to younger fans, with games and pictures to print and colour in), Juvedonna (Juvewoman) (the section dedicated to female fans. An all-female area where the ladies can find useful information about shopping, as well as articles about female issues and items of interest to female fans), Juventime (the most interactive area for fans, with downloads, games, surveys, exclusive merchandising and an archive) and Juvematch (with news, useful information for away games and much more).

Have the other clubs a similar system?
Yes they do. Lets get something clear... This is not the same as the "abbonnati" or "socios" like someone said before, wich are the real club "members". It's a lower grade of membership wich gives you access to some stuff, and discounts and internet stuff and a card that you can show your friends to say you are a real club member. You dont get the same preferencial treatment than the season tickets holders, they're the real members of the club. But sometimes... when a big game approaches, a CL match, or a big concert on the stadium... the season tickets holders have the first pick... and sometimes then (after the season abbonnati), they asign a day for this "new members" to buy the thickets before the general public.

While i lived in Barcelona, Barca did this exact promotion. They called it "Gent del Barca", wich gave you some preferences and access over the general public, and it was really cheap, but nothing as close as the actual "socios de club" (club members/partners). But this was a great promotional move for them. It was after Ronaldhinio's first year, soon enough thousands and thousands of ppl applied for this new lower membership, and they made money enough to build the team wich we all now was great or is great.

Remember that when this new directive of Barcelona took charge (2003) they received the club almost bankrupt, and with this promotion... they went rich in 2 years, rich enough to build that squad and to buy new and modern training grounds. They were also trying to buy all the block around stadium and some in montjuic to build what they called "Mundo barca".

In conclusion... It is a great promotion, all of us should help the team... but its not a first. I dont understand is why juve, with all it's power, is always a step behind others club. It's like with Juventus Channel. You know how many clubs got their channels before juve? madrid, barca, manchester, arsenal, liverpool, milan... and the list goes on.
