i dont even think moggi is stupid enough to send miccoli on a one season loan. by far hes been our best attacker this past season, and one of our best players.

some youngsters goin there way will be good.

chevanton is a VERY good player. some of his goals are

Chevanton Very Close To Juventus

05/27/2004. According to the latest Italian reports, Lecce's forward, Chevanton, who had an excellent season with the southern club, is very close to join Juventus in the next days.

This has been confirmed by Lecce's Sports Director who admitted that Juventus have met Lecce yesterday, even though no agreement has been reached as of yet.

Lecce has apparently asked for aorund 10 million Euros and the loan of Fabrizio Miccoli and so the bianconeri have asked for time to think about it.

Expect more news regarding this transfer negotiation in the coming days.

I really abhore this news if Moggi expects Chevanton to be Trezeguet's replacement. It would make no sense at all to me to have a little better version of Miccoli lead of our attack up front with Del Piero. Chevanton is a samller player, and not one who can take charge in the box. So if Chevanton is David's replacement, don't expect many crosses to be finished off this year. Gilardino would be much more suited for that role. Again, I am perplexed at what Moggi is thinking.

its hard man, when u consider if the deal goes through, we would have simply given away 10 million and a great player for a year....for cheva,he is talented but in the similar mold to micco and dp...so not really needed, i can think of way better things so spend 10 million on.

Cheva could play upfront with DP, our style of play would change slightly to less high crosses from the wings. + Cheva isn't that bad of a header just not that tall and much of a physicaly presence though. Anyway as I stated before I would welcome a Cheva DP front line, without all the crosses at least we'd be forced to play more decent football.

It doesn't matter to me where Cheva will play, as long as he comes. I think he could even adopt the winger role, playmaker or whatever. He is a great player, who can make any side stronger!

he imo can easily be transfered into a winger role.
why cant we do it to miccilo

i see no point of spendin 10M for rotation player, 10M can bring us both ferrari and mexes !!
