I disagree with this transfer.
Miccoli dereves one more chance. Next year Moggi will try to offload Chevanton in the same way, because the Uruguayian would not settle

Trez will leave and we need a strong forward to replace him(ex: Gilardino, Drogba...)

Why do people think that Gila is powerful striker??? He is skillfull striker like Sheva or Raul but his air-eal abilityes are far far from Trez standard....thats the fact will have to face if he comes. Ive didnt see him scoreing the header this season(ok,23 goals....tell me Ive missed one :D) infact....I didnt seen him scoreing the header even for Verona...

Vieri is big,Ruud is big,Morientes is big,Bazzani is big,Kluivert is big. Gila doesnt fit in that group of giants......and its not in centimeters. But your right.....as long he scores I dont care too. But it is a question will he be scoreing for us or......ehmmm

If he managed to score 23 for Parma, then he will score for us too. Of course he needs some time to settle and get the confidence, and i think to let him play is the best way for him to achieve it.
Gilardino might not be as big as Vieri, but he is still a hitman, which is also not as limited as Vieri and RvN for example.

but he'll only go for loan if Chevanton comes, at least that's what channel4 claimed... :undecide: I wouldn't do a straight swap either, Miccoli still haves the potential, I think that he can be DPs successor...

A young goalgetter, and a proven guy like Morientes. Chevanton seems to be an alternative to the way too much expensive Gilardino. If we can get him cheap, I would go for him. He is a great player, who can even develop at a club like Juve!
But if Cheva's price is over 5million euros + Miccoli (on loan of course), I wouldn't buy him... I think that we need only one forward, and his name is Alberto... Let's concentrate on the defence-line first, I'd rather see 3 or 4 new defenders than 2 new forwards if we can get them for same price...

Sure many of you want Gila, but I think he will stay at Parma for one season. Nobody will buy a youngstar for 20 mln and up, who had his first good seaon. He will have to prove himself next season. Cheva, on the other hand, showed that he is good, and Moggi was following him for some years now. Hope we can get him, as a front line of Cheva and DP, would be great. We would see Football like in Brazil :D

Cheva dreaming of Juve Thursday 27 May, 2004

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lecce striker Ernesto Chevanton has reacted with delight after hearing that Juventus are interested in him.

"I’m already imagining myself with the Bianconeri shirt and it would be a dream to join them," he said from Uruguay’s training camp.

"My international teammate Paolo Montero often talks about Juve and they would be the best option for me."

Reports that Juventus had made enquiries about the forward, who netted 19 League goals in the past campaign, first emerged last night.

Whispers suggest that Lecce want around £9m plus the one season loan of Lecce-born ace Fabrizio Miccoli.

"If this story turns out to be true and Juventus do want me then I would swim back to Italy," added the 24-year-old.

It’s unclear whether the Turin giants are willing to release Miccoli who did just miss out on a place in the Euro 2004 squad.

Juve are reportedly keener to offer Lecce cash and the services of youngsters Viktor Boudianski and Felice Piccolo instead.

The Old Lady of Italian football are looking for a new striker given the fact that David Trezeguet is likely to be sold.

Yeah, keep Micco and give these guys instead  . If that's possible, it would be great.

DP, Cheva, Miccoli, Di Vaio
