A playmaker is someone who is much more then a creative source. Its a player who demands the ball, and keeps it, distributes it.
Tevez wasent the most creative. But he was excellent in giving us ball retention very high up the pitch.
Dybala is a player that likes to move. He wants to get the ball and then do something with it. He cant play a deep role cause he lacks the neccecary qualities for it. Dybala could become a truely lethal SS, but he is not a playmaker.
At Palermo, Vasquez that everyone hates, was the static playmaker, dybala was the mobile SS that moved in the space he could find, where Vasquez found him with excellent passes.
"Morata and Dybala behind Mandzukic, is a bad idea. Morata is good when he has the freedom to stay central or move to the side if he sees room there, when there is a playmaker(tevez). He is more centrally focussed, and can only get away from his market, but not go past players in 1 on 1.
Dybala needs to stay to the center. He's not a pure winger, he is significantly less dangerous on the wing and it ruins his abilities.
"morata and dybala" will basically eighter be ineffective wide, or crowd the center, and is a horrible idea.
