doesnt mean itll be our main formation
Offcourse it will. We dont have an alternative.

We dont have wingers that can support a 4-3-3. And we lack the playmaker up front to play 4-3-1-2 cause tevez is gone and pereyra isnt a playmaker.

3-5-2 allows a rigid formation, gives plenty of freedom to Dybala, and allows Pogba all the offensive roaming pressure he can put.

4-3-1-2 and 4-3-3 i could see being our main formations
We dont have the players to play 4-3-3

We dont have the playmaker in the final third for a 4-3-1-2

We have everything for a 3-5-2

you know your club is laughing stock in Europe when u cant even sign a player who played 8 matches last year, but sell the worlds best midfielder in less than week

As opposed to last season where we ended up using 4-3-1-2 most of the time with Playmaker extraordinaire Arturo Vidal.
    Silly person

Last season we played 4-3-1-2, where Tevez was the playmaker in the final third. if you take away tevez and replace with a creative SS , you need a trequartista that is a playmaker. Last season we had two b2b players (pereyra, vidal) who played there, wich is okay, as we had a playmaker in tevez.

Without tevez, you need a TQ who is a playmaker. We dont have that.

4-3-1-2 in wich all 3 offensive players arent playmakers, doesnt work

We refuse to pay too much for a midfielder that has had injury concerns, fair enough

Vidal forced his way out, blame him

i’d still go with the christmas tree.

    @AlexJuventino
i see it being a 4-3-2-1 with morata and dybala behind mandzukic

im not going to argue with you cause there is no point. and btw tevez was far from a creative source. Dybala is more suited to an ss role than tevez was

A playmaker is someone who is much more then a creative source. Its a player who demands the ball, and keeps it, distributes it.
Tevez wasent the most creative. But he was excellent in giving us ball retention very high up the pitch.

Dybala is a player that likes to move. He wants to get the ball and then do something with it. He cant play a deep role cause he lacks the neccecary qualities for it. Dybala could become a truely lethal SS, but he is not a playmaker.

At Palermo, Vasquez that everyone hates, was the static playmaker, dybala was the mobile SS that moved in the space he could find, where Vasquez found him with excellent passes.

"Morata and Dybala behind Mandzukic, is a bad idea. Morata is good when he has the freedom to stay central or move to the side if he sees room there, when there is a playmaker(tevez). He is more centrally focussed, and can only get away from his market, but not go past players in 1 on 1.

Dybala needs to stay to the center. He's not a pure winger, he is significantly less dangerous on the wing and it ruins his abilities.

"morata and dybala" will basically eighter be ineffective wide, or crowd the center, and is a horrible idea.

    3-5-2

    Ramirez and Cuadrado

    ---------------------buffon

    -------barzagli/rugani-bonucci-chiellini

    Cuadrado--------------------------awesomoah/evra
    --------Ramirez--Marchisio--Pogba

    ---------Moradzukic--Dybala

And lets not forget about the crossing ability of Evra and Cuadrado, when playing mandzukic

You know Trequartista is just the Italian word for playmaker, right? Saying we need a TQ who is a playmaker is like saying we need a Volante who's a defensive midfielder :shifty:

I agree partly with what you said though. I haven't given up on Dybala maybe becoming a good TQ but i do like him much more in a SS role.

I'm not against us going back to 3-5-2. With the players we have, a more matured Pogba and technically sharp Dybala, it could work much better than it did with Conte's team.

    3-5-2 is disgusting.

it's the formation that knocked us out of CL agaisnt mighty galatasary.

what formation did juve use that made juve reach the cl? not the 3-5-2

how may teams use 3-5-2 and have won CL in the last 15 years? not a single one

Us playing a 3-5-2 with those players is extremely disgusting. Ramires is trash and cuadrado is even worse. If those are the only available players we will stick to a 4-3-1-2 with pereyra as a trequartista or a 4-3-2-1 with morata and dybala behind mandzukic.

You dont want to accept it but we will. 3-5-2 will be used occasionaly
