The thing is if we don't sign Draxler who else is there? in effect we will have severely weakened our team by selling Vidal and not even using that money in buying someone that will improve the team systematically - and before you or anyone says it please don't use the "but we have pereyra" statement.
At this stage of the transfer window the premium for players is only going to go up as clubs begin to get 'desperate' and given the timing of Vidal leaving, the club has to take this in account.
From Allegri's point of view he needs an AM it is evident that he wants one as he can't trust pogba or dybala to do a job there. The least this club can do is meet allegri's demands and considering his achievements so far he has every right to make demands just as Conte did.
Draxler might be the only target right now, but the transfer window is still going on. honestly, i wont be worried even if we dont get no one, but an opportunity might come in the final days of the mercato. City, Chelsea, United, PSG... they are still on the market looking for reinforcements, and thus some of their players like Mata, Nasri, Cuadrado, Lavezzi etc. might become available. certainly not ideal, but as temporary solutions some of these guys might be good enough, especially since we are getting Berardi next summer. and who knows what opporutinites might come next summer after the EURO, im sure a lot of players will be changing clubs and Marotta will have his fingers in many of these deals.
so as i said, it certainly is no disaster if Draxler doesent come, we are good enough without him too so i wont be worried even if no one else comes this summer
