Marotta very pissed off with S04 at the moment.
If we don't close the deal in the next 7 days we might just drop it altogether.
as if schalke give a shit. this is so embarrassing from marotta, awaiting his final ultimatum

so hes pissed because their GM is trying to get the best possible deal by both putting pressure on us and inviting other suitors?
maybe marotta should have taken a leaf out of schalke's books before letting Vidal go so easily.

who is begging to join us?
That's the point.

If you were to look outside the Juve offices, hoping to see a line of players looking to join, you will be disappointed

serious question, who of the top clubs can be considered classy?

we did have a mod who unintentionally banned himself :p
It really depends on the one who handles their transfers tbh. Heldt used the same tactic Zamparini used with Dybala by using the media. I really don't know which club can be considered classy in their transfer dealings, I just feel that being very open to the media about transfers is not a very good idea, especially if the goal is to raise the player’s price. Don't they have fax machines or emails to notify other clubs? Clubs who do that are very cheap to me. You could be not rich and still sell players for a high price like Porto. They don't auction their players in the media.

I think for the most part that's because now the games all about money agents want money players want money and nobody cares of teams history and heritage. Loyalty is bought easier than Fredo. These players only care about their bank account for the most part. Honestly if players were half the character of players just 10--20 years ago the clubs in England and the most part Germany would still be shite

because schalke are so desperate to sell him? at the end of the day we're the ones losing out here not schalke
but were not losing out. we dont need him that desperately that we should go out overpaying for him. if our latest offers i heard here are true (15+15 or 18+10), and they still dont want to accept, fuck them. at best, we could increase the base fee at the expense of bonuses making it something like 22+8 or 25+5 etc. but ~30M is good enough for him

But on the other hand he doesn't put his club and himself in good light. Would you be willing to negotiate, cooperate and make business with such a person?

perfectly? how about spending the whole summer chasing him
I dont know how much chasing he did and how much of it was made up by Tancredi Palmeri and co. Been reading Schalke forums and the topic has not been touched since Heldt refused the initial offer. Not one German source about any further offers except the ones quoting Italian sources

Who says we are chasing him whole summer? Few self proclaimed experts and few rumor spreaders who earn for a life from spreading rumors. We never know what's happening behind the scenes.
theres no behind the scenes, unless you think schalke and their representatives are straight up lying

But on the other hand he doesn't put his club and himself in good light. Do you want to negotiate, cooperate and make business with such a person?
a person whos trying to get the best deal possible for their team? i wouldnt expect anything less, also people dont get in business to reward good manners and character, thats called charity

"We are interested in Draxler, but he's still a Schalke player and a lot will depend on their will. We're not in any rush -- there's time. We want to put a couple of cherries on top of the cake that has been our transfer market."

I disagree. You can have good manners and character in business. It's not called charity, it's called being sustainable. By being respectful to all your stakeholders your business will have good image, and in turn, more customers.
