Almost no one is consistent week in week out. When Cuadrado hits form he's almost unplayable, even if it's just for a few months imo it's still worthwile to have him around for those match winning performances from him

- Yes! Let's sell the player who loves playing here!
- We need wingers, let's sell Cuadrado and have to buy one more winger than we would have had to before!

Douglas Costa is the better player in this case. But I don't see a reason for selling John Square either. He's been useful plenty of times. Let them both fight for a starting spot.

But I dont think getting Costa is the reason for selling him (even if both are quite similar in style), but the 2nd interest in winger, Bernadeschi or Keita. Both 2 players who can play across all attacking positions.

There is no possible justification for selling the most entertaining player on Earth. On form this guy dances and twists his way past defenders seemingly forgetting all worries or cares in the world and making me forget mine too.

Most definetely one of the most entertaining to watch along with Neymar, Marcelo and Mandzo ( i find it entertaining how he bullies fools)

I would like to keep him if we can, as a backup for RB and RW, but the guy really should not be a starter here anymore. He can be great in those tough away games where he can bomb down the flank and do the work of two men, contributing defensively and being a threat on the counter but when we're on top of games he's too inconsistent and far too often when he doesn't have open space to run into is easily shut down.

sure why the fuck not. like 9/10 games we play these days we are in the ascendancy pressing some smaller team that tries to sit back and defend against us. Imagine Bernardeschi cutting in from RW making space for Cuads to bomb down the flank. It wouldn't be an every week thing but when we are in the ascendancy or need a goal it could be a useful option

It makes more sense than playing Lichtsteiner in games where we spend the entire time attacking.
