Inter fined for racist chants

Inter have been fined €15,000 for racist and anti-Southern chants during the 2-0 victory over Napoli.

There were several incidents of chants that were 'discriminatory based on territorial origin’ – the legal term for insults aimed at people from Naples and the south of Italy.

Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly was also the subject of specifically racist chants from the crowd at San Siro.

Inter received a €15,000 fine, while Napoli were fined €3,000 for chants insulting the referee.

Apparently CdS saying Totti and Spalletti had a physical altercation after the game today, with regards to Spalletti's comments about Totti in the press lately.

Even if untrue... and the Roma wheels come off once again.

I can't imagine Totti having a physical altercation even with a 55 year old would work out well for him.

Probation is one year though. So if whithin that period we recieve another similar punishment it will be added to original one and we'll have to serve both. Or if we avoid recieving another one it will be erased.

I think Venezia and Vicenza are close to Lega Pro now as well. I like seeing these, historic and well-supported clubs fighting their way up the pyramid and becoming relevant again.
