I know right. But it would create the illusion of perfect objectivity, and that might be enough for those biased idiots to chill the fuck out a little.

I'm against video technology but just curious what would their excuse be then?
Only the really obvious calls would make much difference. Even now people don't agree on the penalties from Juve-Roma, for example. So how is a guy or a panel going to decide a call in 30-60 seconds.

In the end these jurors are going to be football fans to understand the game to that extent, which means they will support a team(s) and will have a degree of bias. In Italy complaining will never stop, it's how people deal with defeat.
