Juventus reject postponement?
By Football Italia staff

It’s rumoured that Juventus have rejected any proposal to move the Napoli game to Monday evening.

It was reported last night that the Partenopei had made a request to the Lega Serie A for the match at Juventus Stadium, scheduled for Saturday evening, to be played at the same time as the Rome derby.

The Vesuviani are competing with Roma and Lazio for a Champions League spot, meaning the capital clubs could theoretically engineer a mutually beneficial result, knowing the Napoli score.

However, La Repubblica reports that the Bianconeri do not wish to move the match, even though it would give them two days of extra rest after the Coppa Italia final.

The Partenopei are therefore awaiting the decision of the League, but La Repubblica indicates that a schedule change is unlikely.

that is actually better for Napoli. less time to rest for us, players will emotionally not care about the game after the copa final, and they can put pressure on Roma/Lazio if they win

So...

Our midfield best 4 of Pirlo, Pogba, Marchisio, Vidal cost 12 mil...

Inter's midfield best 4 of Guarin, Hernanes, Kovacic, Medel cost 54 mil...

Roma's midfield best 4 of Naingollan, Strootman, Pjanic, De Rossi cost 50 mil... (assuming they buy Radja fully)

Marotta is so great.

i think their reasoning is that if they lose to juve, the roman teams (or at least lazio) could play for a draw to ensure qualification for both of them.
if they lose to juve and roma beat lazio they can still qualify by beating lazio in the last round.
