I wudnt be even bothered if we field our primavera team against roma as long as we clinch it against atalanta

Garcia: Conte could be nervous
By Football Italia staff

Roma boss Rudi Garcia has refused to comment on Antonio Conte’s jibe that he is ‘provincial’.

The Giallorossi Coach had called for teams to up their game against Juventus to keep the title race alive – a remark that the Bianconeri tactician labelled as ‘bar talk’.

The Frenchman though, has insisted that he won’t get involved in a war-of-words, but believes that Conte could be ‘nervous’.

“To me, Conte seems a bit nervous. But I have nothing to say on it,” he told Sky Sport Italia after he received the Giuseppe Prisco Award this morning for loyalty, fairness and friendliness in sport.

“I just want to enjoy this day, and that’s it. It’s been an honour to be here at Roma for the last 10 months.”

Garcia then commented on the race for the Scudetto.

“We’ll see what happens tonight [between Juve and Sassuolo]. We just have to concentrate on beating Catania – but our fate is not in our hands.

“At the moment though, everything seems to be going well for us.”

pessimists? i call you non-believers :p this has officially become a cult
I'm not a non-believer bro. It's just that I was around when the Perugia game happened and some shit can scar you :D. From that moment, I wait till things are more certain. And I genuinely think/thought that Juve were tiring, but my oh my, Conte has built a machine. And how. I can only imagine what Rudi Garcia's favorite artists would be on his iPod these days: you guessed it, rage against the machine. :D

Whichever way you look t it, it's goddamn impressive. Especially for a team that's won the title twice in its previous two years. Shows that we are growing despite those successes, and Conte is at the centre of it all.
