Actually, I don't like the big-spending-on-foreigners model at all. That's so BPL, and we don't have the financial base to support that kind of salary and transfer budget. At least without facing Milan's problem, which is bringing in a couple of name-brand Brazilians who underachieve and surround them with boiled-over leftovers on the cheap from around the worl. Plus a few token home-grown Italians.

That's not even a Zidanes and Pavones policy -- that's a Robinhos and Birsas policy. :sick:

I would actually like to get our hands on some Serie A youngsters, Iturbe (I know Porto owns him) and Jorginho for example. Buy the rest of Berardi of course.

Looks like he's quite injury prone.
The forward had been out of action for a couple of months with a micro-fracture in his left foot and suffered a knock in the same area during last night’s Champions League game.
Tests have now shown there is no new fracture, but it has caused an inflammation of the previously damaged zone.
