The truth is Roma were very fortunate in this game. I have no sympathy for Napoli and I'm glad they lost but they did have two sitters and conceded a very dubious penalty and had a player unjustly sent off. Roma is a very solid team, they've got a great group of players, but they were far from dominant today, and in the long run, I think Napoli is still the bigger threat.

Quite.

Let's shut down the forum and only post the final result of games.

Everything else is just ifs and buts and not worth talking about.
 Great idea. You wouldn't post those ridiculous tactical analysis anymore. I'm all for that.

That was exactly my thoughts during the game aswell. Roma looks like a team the other top clubs can beat if they show up, but giving away so much space in the counters is dangerous, cause their conversion-rate is great. I was more impressed by Napoli though, who clearly lacked Higuain instead of Pandev in the first half, where they should have scored at least one goal. Insigne is great, and their midfield played pretty well when on the ball.

Glad to see Napoli loose points, but Roma has to be stopped soon, if not, we will end up in the chasing role the whole season, and that is so frustrating, knowing how many draws we will get in january. Any news on Totti? Huge blow for them if he is out, he has been involved in half their goals this season.

Dubious? Penalty was clear as day. Even CUNTAvaro knew it.

Wonder if Reina will be punished for what he said about the refereeing on Twitter. He posted a picture of what looks like Cannavaro is the one being fouled (shirt pull).

You don't win 8 straight without getting a few decisions, especially with Roma's comparative squad. Roma so far haven't found themselves having to respond to a result, we'll learn more about them then.

Roma are constantly making quality signings in the market especially young players. The only negative is that they are selling them at a similar rate. Add marquinhos and Lamela to this group and they'd have much more of a chance to win the title.
