Roma are a genuine threat, as are Napoli. However, we are our own worst enemy. We have the strongest and deepest squad in Serie A (albeit with a few deficiencies), and remain the overwhelming favorites IF we play to our potential. Now, that is an entirely different matter :D

The problem with Roma's great start is, if they make it to January keeping up a similar pace and form. They are going to be buyers in the market, and their squad only really needs a bit of depth and perhaps a legit ST. But I have no doubt they will be addressing that in the winter window.

We need them to stumble at some point.

You don't win 8 straight without getting a few decisions, especially with Roma's comparative squad. Roma so far haven't found themselves having to respond to a result, we'll learn more about them then.
What decisions ? lol..None of them have been game changing ones and those 'questionable' calls in favor of them have been 50-50 and not exactly blatant decisions. Its not as clear cut as we've received in our games.Every game they've played ,they've looked the superior team by a stretch and its no fluke that they've won 8 out of 8.They've earned every single win out there by playing excellent footy.

We play them in the first game after the winter break :scared:

I wouldn't be concerned about Roma at all if they were in Europe, but they have parallels with Conte's first season with us.
That being said the title is ours to lose (just like it was Milan's in 2011-2012).

For me it's not the eight straight wins that are impressive, not even their style of play because it was not that convincing in the opening four or five games but the fact that they have only let in one goal in eight games is what makes them a hard nut to break.

They've been impressive, but they won't keep this up for too long. They just don't have enough depth, and really Cannavaro sold the game yesterday. They were not that solid yesterday, or else they would not have allowed two clear cut chances for Napoli to score. As soon as Totti left the game injured, you could see the huge drop in creativity in the final third. Imagine if he's out for 3-4 weeks(which is inevitable at some point due to his age). I'd be surprised if, come the end of the season they end up ahead of Napoli.

That being said, I wish Garcia all the best, and I actually hope he wins the league,:xfinger: I just cant see it happening though.

Something I've been repeating for while. They have that hunger we once had, but now it seems our recent success is taking its toll. Tomorrow's game might be one of these which could determine how this season will shape up. Let's hope our players found that lost motivation during the break.
