They are not going to win it. Other than that it doesn't matter where they finish.

They bought 29yo Matri and old Kaka that will need to be replaced in 2 seasons at most while their defense is pure shit. Midfield is fragile too.

"Low-scoring matches reflect positively on the quality of the teams' defences. The Premier League was at its lowest point when top teams were contending games with farcical scorelines during the last two seasons. Compare this to 2007-08 (the apex for English football) where most of the games between the top sides were relatively low-scoring affairs. I take this current goal drought to be a sign of increased tactical awareness and discipline."

Haha any other league would be called boring by them. But of course, it's the great EPL. Behold! It's a sign of increased tactical awareness and discipline!
Having watched Liverpool-Man Utd it really was nothing to do with tactical discipline, just shite forward and midfield play.

    Roma fans pick third jersey
    By Football Italia staff

Roma’s new third jersey will be all black at the request of 45 per cent of season ticket holders.

The club allowed fans the opportunity to vote for a new strip, giving the supporters a shortlist of three shirts to pick from.

Two of the three options were primarily black, while the other jersey was green. The black shirt with the red and yellow trimmed collar has been chosen.

“Today it is a great pleasure for us to present a jersey which was chosen by our fans,” stated AS Roma commercial director Christoph Winterling.

“This month a significant amount of our fans participated in the selection of the jersey that our players will wear with honour, passion and respect beginning in December.

“In the future we want to continue rewarding our most loyal fans with initiatives which will see them at the centre of our activities.”

I knew Milan wanted Matri as a starter.

Also, Sassuolo has pretty much maxed themselves out thanks to us sending them players. Not a terrible lineup for such a small team.

Lazio on Yilmaz and Quagliarella flops
    By Football Italia staff

Lazio director Igli Tare reveals they had a deadline day deal for Fabio Quagliarella and blamed Burak Yilmaz’s agent for ruining his move.

It was a chaotic final day of the transfer session for the Biancocelesti, who sold Libor Kozak to Aston Villa for a reported €7m and failed to bring in a replacement.

The talks with Galatasaray for Yilmaz had appeared to be concluded when it all collapsed, reportedly due to his agent requesting a €2m signing-on fee.

“I understand the disappointment of the fans for Yilmaz, but we did everything possible. I said it wouldn’t be easy,” director of sport Tare told Lazio Style Radio.

“I will admit we tried to sign him, but what happened was very serious. An agent cannot decide the future of a player and it’s not possible that to buy a player you have to accept the economic demands of his representative.

“I am sorry that Brayan Perea’s transfer had to wait to the last second because of the non-EU places, but I can assure the supporters he is not a second choice. We need to be patient and wait before judging the squad.”

When the Yilmaz option was abandoned, Lazio dived on to Juventus striker Quagliarella, who was also wanted by Roma, West Ham and West Bromwich Albion on transfer deadline day.

“We had a basic agreement with Quagliarella, but it was all blocked at the last minute by Antonio Conte,” confirmed Tare.

“Antonio Rozzi has been loaned out to Real Madrid Castilla and will return, as this is a great possibility for him. The option to buy him is worth €18m.

“As for Kozak, his era was concluded and we thank him for what he did here.”
