You're kind of like the guy on the front lines who always goes into battle first. And for various people it's useful to have someone like that around. I agree with many or most of your criticisms, but not their fervor typically, because I always like to have a fallback position.

And if you weren't already doing it by yourself I might very well wonder if I could engineer someone to explore the terrain like you do.
