- 3 from England
- 3 from Italy
- 2 from France
- 2 from Germany
- 2 from Russia
- 1 from Romania, Portugal, Turkey, Belgium, Ukraine, Scotland and Holland

10 teams qualify from the so called "Best-placed path". This is how:

in round 1 there will be 10 teams
- 3rd placed team from Russia and the 2nd placed team from ROM, POR, HOL, SCO, TUR, UKR, BEL, GRE, CZE

From these 10 teams 5 pairs will be made and the winners of these 5 pairs will play in the 2nd round against these 5 teams:
- 4th placed from England
- 4th placed from Spain
- 4th placed from Italy
- 3rd placed from France
- 3rd placed from Germany

The 5 winners of these 5 pairs go in CL groups

Now we're left with 5 more teams to complete the CL and we'll get them from the so called Champions Path.

1st round
We make 3 pairs from the champions of Faroer Islands, Luxemburg, Malta, Andorra, Montenegro and San Marino . The 3 winners go in round 2

2nd round
the three winners from round 1 and the 31 champions of the countries ranked from 17-47 (countries like Croatia, Serbia, Austria, Sweden, Macedonia etc) make 17 pairs and the winners of these 17 pairs go to round 3 where three more teams are expecting them

3rd round
The three teams waiting here (the champions of countries ranked 14,15,16 in UEFA) and the 17 winners of round2 make 10 pairs. The winners of these 10 pairs go to round 4

4th round
The ten winners from round3 make 5 pairs and the winners of these pairs go to CL groups

But outsiders in football forums usually have to get along with everyone, at least in the begining. (unless they're here just to troll). They know that it's harder for them to be accepted and so they're more careful with what they say.

Now Fred is part of the gang and it obviously isn't the reason anymore why he's popular, but it was most probably one of the reasons why he survived.
