Motta= Italian Sergio Ramos he'll be good trust me
Motta and Ramos are the same age... but one is a mainstay in a very good Madrid squad as well as a European/World Champion... while the other was just signed on loan, with an option to buy for 5ME. There's probably some 20-25ME difference in their valuation.

I have some hope that Motta can improve, but he's been brutal on the defensive side of things, and he's nowhere near as good as Ramos going forward.

No disrespect Kasaki, but this is not a fair comparison, so maybe you were joking?

this season we will see a itajuve surely.. a opposite of inter milan..
I wonder if that was the intention. It might have been. Inter won with non-Italians but we win with Italians, we are Italian football and bring glory to Italy.
That's a sweet thought and I can't help thinking that someone in our board was attracted by it.

So I get it that we're an Italian team that needs a lot of Italians. Why don't the best 3 Italian teams atm think and function the same way?

There is not a big difference between Juve and Milan with regard to the number of Italians in the squad. The difference is that their world class players who make Milan a Scudetto contender are not Italian but can we afford having the likes of Ronaldinho in our team?

There still isn't a big difference. But you know what makes me think that the difference will become even bigger?
They bought 5 players and all of them (Robinho, Zlatan, Boateng, Sokratis and Yepes) are non-Italian, while some of those they got rid of (Favalli, Borriello, Storari etc) were Italian and the next in line to get rid of (Inzaghi and the likes) are Italian.

We're doing the opposite.

Because they're being logical and they know that there is less quality Italian players in the league at the moment. So why overspend on "mostly" average players when you can get better quality players (foreigners) for faar less money?

Inter have always had that "foreigners approach" But Ac milan always had that base of italian players (just like us) so why aren't they buying those young italian players anymore?

Because they can get the best defender (by far) from the Brazilian league for 9 millions while we just spent 15 millions on someone who is probably not even the best defender in his own team like Bonucci (not bashing the guy cause i rate him) but is he really twice better than thiago silva for example?

Just something to think about...

What about these new rules? What are they going to do next year? I'm confused how they will be able to function on the transfer market, especially with the non EU rule. I thought the whole point was to push italians in their teams but all they will do is buy from European countries anyways.

I saw that but I didn't know if he'll be part of the 25 men CL squad so I didn't count him just like I didn't count some other youngsters Juve, Inter, Milan and Roma brought. (Milan also has a couple of African kids who get an occasional chance to play, but I decided not to count those since they can play for the primavera too).
