Most people I know don’t give a shit if regime’s military sites are destroyed, and hence they ARE celebrating. Although it hasn’t hit their bottom line just yet. Tonight Israel bombed 2 oil depots in northwest and south of Tehran, and I imagine if attacks like these continue there’ll soon be fuel shortages followed by shortages in everything else.
Regardless of the shortages. One of the oil depots is in dense residential neighborhood, and 5 years ago a city council member warned it could cause a Beirut style catastrophe. While that hasn’t happened, thankfully, there probably be a large destruction of civilian property.

Really? There have been many protests against the current government and the IDF seem to be silencing the people with a lot of force. Pretty much every Isreali official has lied on every topic, so it wouldn't surprise me if this baby killing regime silenced a few protesting Isrealis.

I have no doubt that most Iranians want their government gone, but for them to imply that a foreign power bombing them and aiming to install some sympathetic government is an act to be celebrated is ludicrous.

Military sites getting destroyed will impact them too, there is no viable political alternative to the mullahs as bad as they are. Everyone in iran and everyone who loves iranians and despises the criminal state of israel should only be concerned about 2 things:

-Iran reeatablishing deterrence via devastating strikes within israel
-Iran acquiring nuclear weapons

I was against Iran getting nukes, but the alternative is much worse imo

I meant in a short term basis. I disagree with the nukes part since it turns the country into a pariah state, much more than what it is now. But some sort of deterrence is necessary. People are starting to wake up to the reality that Israel won’t act in their best interests and enemy of your enemy is not necessarily your friend. It might be too late.

Nukes are the only deterrent when it comes to israeli and american aggression, the only country in the axis of evil that never got bombed is the one with nukes. And tbh the only country id put my money on to ever use nukes is israel, so yeah every country around them should have nukes, at the very least iran, saudi, and turkey.

Pakistan and India having nukes is a good example of deterrence through the threat of MAD. They had a mini-war last month, but both were responsible enough to avoid hitting each other's nuclear sites.

I can see why Holocaust denial is a thing these days.
