But you know, I think he tried to return the Arab Caliphate instead of the Turk. I mean he did send his sons to different parts of Arabia to rule! But they were caught between all the revolutionaries. Not to mention how he got screwed in his own base by the forces coming from Najd led by King Abdulaziz.

Sometimes I think we had it coming with all the internal conflicts.

When you take a small cat to a room, fix it on some table with ropes not giving it any chance to move, then you used a knife to kill it gradually, then you wouldn't expect this small cat to stay calm even if it is so helpless. It has to try until the end to hurt that guy who is trying to kill it, and even if he lost a finger in its attempts, that would be better than nothing.

Absolutely nothing but it's still the most natural reaction you would expect of anyone at such a situation in which you have nothing left to lose. Why do we live seriously? We go after our goals, trying to get a job, to have somewhere to live in, to have a family, to achieve a living, to feel safe, secure and free. When someone wrests pretty much all of that from you, you're potentially able to do anything.

It's definitely not when the cat knows there's no way of escaping. It's always better to have all of your fingers you know. Thing is that what the cat is doing there, even though all is in vain, is just understandable and I'm sure anyone would do the same being in such position.

No it won't be secularly governed. But it won't look like the autocratic theocracies like Iran. Instead it would look like the state in the era of the Rashidun Caliphate.


Us Arabs have always been under one state for hundreds of years. Seperate states were created by the colonial powers after they were forced to leave.

A non-Secular state is not a state at all it is a pretender to democracy and an abomination to the entire concept of governance.

Those that require divine guidance to do the right thing are not fit to lead sheep,let alone men.

i doubt it has anything to do with this abed, this is simply normal civilians paying the hefty price for the hate between hamas and the government here. there is no two ways about it Egypt simply put hates hamas.

i have heard on several occasions that fateh ( which is brutally backed up by here and most arab countries) is not popular any more and that people quite dislike them, and i do understand hamas are no angels either but preventing food and medicines to pass is nothing short from ridiculous. i would understand if egypt does'nt want weapons to be transferred thru its boundaries i can live with that but other supplies which are much needed should be passed regardless of who we like in Palestine and who we just want the ground to crack open and swallow ( hamas).

i wish some one from the government would come out and say we are building this wall for the following reasons, or even better come up with a logical reason as to why we dont want the convoy to pass thru egyptain land instead of having them go back to jordan, syria, just to come back to aresh at the end of the day. until then egypts creditbility in the eyes if its people is starting to be very shaky not to mention in the arab world, and who gets the bashing at the end normal people who happen to be egyptains. its no secret the entire arab world is in with this move bec to this minute apart from turkey the rest of the arab world is quite as if there is nothing going on.
